actually, SMASH barwl is not looked at as competitive.

and im surprised you play barwl after playing a game as (somewhat)deep as tekken.

you must have been a king player to switch to such a much easier game.

Lol I hate Tekken... I only played it when my friends wanted to and when it was my last quarter.

Hell no I wouldn't buy the game!

I'd play that wooden guy from like..Tekken 3 or 4 or something.
He was made of wood, and he was just another char for random.

And I play Kazuya. I'll take someone on anytime anywhere. I need some practice before I go back to making the $$$ from Tekken 6.

I got back involved in Smash because of friends and its interesting, and just a lack of decent Tekken tournaments that I cared about.

I think its ridiculously cool that I can play as Starfox or Sonic in a fighting game though..

But I think thats why lots of us play Smash. o_o

MAJOR UPDATES!!



* Reduce/Remove your DOOR FEE by bringing a friend that has never been to any of my events.
(This is will encourage new players to come, increase attendance, and gives back to the players.)

* I now have the bigger room to use. Which means more room and more A/C :)
(If there is enough people then I should be able to use both rooms.)

* I may pay out to top 8 and have a secondary bracket. Details on this later.
(This gives more opportunity to make money and encourages great competition)

* The Next Monthly Is On 9-12-09.

Melee doesnt have enough hit stun to be competitive. There are no combos because you can just DI. Gimping in that game is too easy. It looks really boring to watch too. Lol CGs

Smash 64 all the way.

On the tournament's note, I'll try to bring Shaky which means no door fee, wut?!? XD.
