Yeah it's a very sad MU. I need to play it more though. And thanks for the compliments CourierOh yes the IC player that I regularly play with has learned ISSDI and I got to experience it first hand. The matchup is -4 Zelda qq!
Expected reaction. Again, why do I post? :/Still not seeing how this is useful at all TBH.....
I don't recommend doing it on wifi unless you're used to buffering things correctly. And yep, you can reverse it. Even if you don't hit them with Nayru's, you can still try and follow up after. The technique is definitely a surprise factor for your opponents, not something to be used all the time (like Up B'ing into people all the time). By the way, I don't find moving platforms all that useful for this - wasn't too happy with Smashville's moving platform messing my timing up.Good stuff Mocha . Link can do that with his ground spin attack but it doesn't help; it just adds a flashy effect.
Nayru's off stage platforms could occasionally be good vs range attack spammers like Mario, Wolf, Yoshi, etc. It protects Zelda and floats out to catch them in the Nayru's. The direction reverse you did off the top platform looks to be the most useful. It could catch opponents below by surprise.
And np, I don't think this was anything new really, just something unexplored.
