If anyone can remember the placings after this please let me know, someone closed the TIO file on my laptop and it corrupted. Plenty of recordings to come however.

Unfortunately the TIO file got corrupted (twas just a copy paste), but there was 38 players in singles, I came 25th, which is lulz.

In among all that, I know there were some kirbys, pikachu's, lucario's, peach's, and... other characters.

This tournament was MK banned btw.

Also G&W is a horrible idea. Seriously, my partner and I begun with G&W and Zelda, and we lost to Apollo and Allens in our first match. Then we played some random SA players who used Wolf and Toon Link and Ness and beat them using random combinations, and we found that ROB + Zelda = ****.

So we stayed that and we beat Jei (7th in VIC) and Khoa (Unranked), then we beat Jaice (1st in QLD) and Jezmo (3rd in QLD) then we renamed our team to "Choice Scarf" and beat Apollo (1st in SA) and Allens (2nd in SA) in losers bracket. Then we lost to Tedeth (1st in NSW) and Luke (Who is ranked, but no idea what, in NSW), but we took it VERY close.

Liking the mid tiers and the one low tier that placed pretty high!

Alot of those character uses are wrong areo. Attila and Earl both used ice climbers and M used ness and D3 aswell.

Yeah, I couldn't remember all the characters everyone used but I got the main ones right, I'm sure.

Nice! You played a bit better in this match than your DK ones, it was almost like watching a different player. Loved the use of aerial canceling, and I lol'd at the Nayru's Love to down air - NinjaLink combo!. Falco's annoying but not impossible, gj

Haha thanks. I don't do as bad against DK anymore but he's a huge struggle for me... although perhaps this can be attributed to the fact that he knows my habits and the Zelda matchup too well.

I don't want to sound too pessimistic, but DK is nowhere as "easy" as the rest of Zelda's -2...

Reverse Nayru's is really cool, but I can't use it too much or else it gets read like my Farore's ledge cancel... although it's back to the point where the ledge cancel "surprises" people again.

The only reason DK is so low on the tier list is because Dedede, and without the infinite, the MU is probably evenish.

DK's one of the characters that gives me trouble, even using characters with a decent MU like Wolf vs DK.
Does anyone else have trouble with certain characters regardless of the MU?
Lol, Ganon is hard for me but he's so bad that I still win. Wifi Ganon's harder than offline.

... Dude, you like seriously discovered a ridiculous tech that, depending on how easy it is to pull off, could change the way Zelda f-smashes forever. And you didn't even notice? lawl

Weird my guess is Zelda was still in shield pushback animation and started the fsmash at just the right time to cause a glitch where the push moved the Fsmash.
Either that or Couier moved back for a split second and Fsmashed with the C stick towards Falco so the animation started during the movement resulting in a pivot like slide that was mostly because Fsmash's stance stretches Zelda making it look like the slide was farther.

(imo) It looks like a dodge roll was cancelled and Fsmash was used instead.

Nothing hits her shield so there's no shield push back involved. It's after a spotdodge and then a duck. At first I was thinking it might be like diddy's spotdodge to dacus but ducking was the last action so maybe it's related to that? If it's controllable it looks fairly good to space with.

Yeah, a friend of mine who pointed it out to me last night thought it was a pivot f-smash, but it was after a duck, so...

I need to boot up frame advance for someone today, so I'll fiddle around with it.

This would make f-smash literally unpunishable by anything except really long tether grabs. ._.

I have tap jump off. R set to probably set to attack but I only use R for Sheik's DACUS. Everything else is normal.

Man I wanna learn how to do this tech too! Maybe we can ask somebody in the Smash Lab to figure it out, haha.

Knowing my silly gamestyle, I probably tried to dtilt... messed up and natural instinct was to use a gtfo move such as that fsmash (although I use fsmash like crazy). -3/-4 matchups do that to me
