This is a Must Have alt.

That would be a pretty sexy alt. Look at that skirt, I love the pink-purple color.

IMO, the HW model looks like a combination of SS Zelda, TP Zelda, and Oot Zelda.

I wouldn't worry about the face. I doubt they'd go through the trouble of changing Zelda's face just for an alternate costume.

I haunt the unannounced veteran boards too and a lot of people believe someone is going to get announced tomorrow (most believe either Snake or Ice Climbers, from what I've heard). I hope for the former because he's my second but I'll accept any veterans.
Although more Zelda stuff is always good stuff!

She is so ugly, TP Alt definitely wins. What did they do to her face? It looks like Carmen from South Park in a dress. They even gave her a double chin.

Keep in mind they have to make her work for the HW model, I think the phase is the same. The TP model isn't as good as it could be either.

Yea it's because HW Zelda has a droopy nose. But that SS Zelda is hideous, whilst the TP is okay. They should've been smart and just changed the faces too because this is bad…

The eyes are different too, TP Zelda and SS Zelda both have box like eyes, while HW are more narrow and pointed.

While I agree that the SS artwork for Hyrule Warriors looks weird (that lighting on the chin, mainly), I do think it looks good. Maybe because I can imagine HW's face slapped on SS Zelda.

Really the structure isn't that difficult, although I do think HW Zelda looks more like TP Zelda than she does SS Zelda, which is probably why the TP alt looks better.

Yep, the Hyrule Warriors face is clearly "more logical" in the TP dress. But we have the SS Zelda, without the lips of hell. So that's cool.

Actually that's incorrect. Skyward Sword Zelda has angular "boxy" eyes, Twilight Princess has gently sloping circular eyes, SSB4 Zelda takes from Skyward Sword though. Hyrule Warriors Zelda is actually more TP except more slanted.

I don't think it's a double chin, it looks like a shadow from her hair or something.

It's a double chin. You can see that the shadow of her hair is next to her ear and not on her face.

It's pretty darn awful. Yes TP alternate looks fine, but still not as good as TP Zelda herself.

Now that I think about, given that they give SS Zelda eyes to TP Zelda in smash bros, maybe that confirms a SS Zelda alt.

I love the alt clothes on HW, Well specifically the SS one. If we get a SS Zelda, Which I hope we do, I want it to look as detailed as that and not just recolours.

What I would really like is Hilda, that is my 100%, no doubt about it must have alt. I freaking loved her. Although I would sacrifice Hilda for a HW alt. I fully expect a SS Zelda alt, which I'm actually looking forward to.

I think Hilda won't happen, judging on the fact that their was no Midna alt for brawl. I feel as is SSB is very conservative when it comes to alt costumes so i'd be surprised if we even get a Skyward Sword Zelda alternate.

Sadly I'm feeling iffy about it, I want Skyward Sword Zelda badly, But wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't in there. If only Nintendo embraced DLC and added at least 2 alt costumes to each character after game released, or at least 1 for each, Like allot of us are expecting.

About other characters palette swap, we had some in the past. Mario have a Foreman Spike from Wrecking Crew and Wario outfit, Luigi have Waluigi, Peach have Daisy, there's Dark Link, OoT Zelda, OoT Ganondorf, Retro Link (on Toon Link), Olimar have Louis, there's Blood Falcon, Ike had the Greil outfit and Marth had the Leif outfit... Colors schemes ressembling others characters exist.

So I don't think a Hilda is out of the realm of possibilities. My only worry for Hilda (and OoT Zelda) is the blonde purple Zelda outfit.



About an SS Zelda 3D model, I don't think it's impossible as well. First of all, Zelda's characters are a special case because there's various incarnations of the heroes. Now, Zelda have the TP look while having moves inspired from OoT and ST, so it's not "one Zelda only". Finally, there's a lot of differences between TP Zelda and SS Zelda. I think that if SS Link is only a palette swap, it's because it's quite close to the green tunic. There's just long sleeves, no chainmail and no hat. As alt costumes tends to have their own colors, I think this kind of costume was unecessary.
Plus, even if the differences are small, a new 3D model is a new 3D model. As Link is rather complex, it's maybe also a question of the 3D model "size" on the disc (but I'm not an expert about 3D modeling, so I'm just theorizing). Imagine if Samus' suits were all actual 3D models.
