Dustshoot wins games because besides making your opponent go -1 in hand it let's you SEE their hand. Dustshoot isnt like Trish. Dusthoot is like BLS. No skill, no work, huge advantage. Ban worthy.

lol I called BLS being unbanned since 6 months before it happened.
There are countless ways to get rid of it.

I'm with Kanzaki on this one: "I think dustshoot was fine at 1, but I can also see why it was banned."
Now, let's wait for they banning Drop Off and Card Destruction.

I know you're being facetious, but neither of those cards do what Dustshoot does for you. The people calling BLS unbanned was a shot in the dark, it still deserves to be dropkicked back into Forbidden. All they want to do was make more money off Chaos and Twilight.

So many ways to get rid of it, just like there are ways to stop the Inzektor Loop or Wind-Ups. Except you need those in your hand at the time, or if you want something to help you keep advantage when it's happening (Maxx "C")-- You'll have to shell out even more money for because of this awful list.

Tour Guide liable to get hit already, coupled with the ruling change that makes that combo not so absurdly broken? Any deck archetype worth it's weight in top 8's doesn't even need to use the guy.

Actually every top 8 deck will need it. 3 tourguide + 1 sangan goes in every deck. Tour guide won't get hit. Konami has already proven they want to push xyz over everything. It will be a long time before its gone.

yeah, ban more things, it's absolutely necessary to get rid of those things that are not broken but annoys people out.
But heavens forbid if the banlist ever touches Grapha, Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon, or whatever core card that actually does the game or certain strategies broken.


On a side note, how can guys on DN that don't know the rulings of their own cards always have high rankings, as in, 600 at the very least, 900 on average? (I just hit 500 yesterday, only because I don't play much).

I play people 1200+ who still dont know the rulings for their cards or even better common cards. Opponent drops BLS "Eff, remove" *Drops veiler* "Ok attack". Like, I know rulings for most decks that I've never even played.

Edit: On Konami banning stuff to push their ****: Mind Control and Lightning Vortex make sense. They're less good versions of absolutely broken cards. What their doing now is just ****ing awful. They're banning cards specifically so people will have to buy their new stuff. When Royal Op got banned and one of my friends complained "Why would they hit Anti-Meta," I said, and I quote "Roy Op stops XYZ summons." I still fully believe that is the only reason.

I was upset about the ban list mainly due to the fact that approximately 2-3 weeks ago, I bought/traded Trap Dustshoot(4.00), and Trishula(Naturia Beast + 10 dollars). I believe I got a good deal on Trish, but only got a few plays worth =/


However, earlier today I got Brio for 20.00, so not complaining as much :]

Brio also getting reprinted, haha. The Ban List always comes around on a schedule though, so make sure you check if it's coming out soon before making any trades that seem too good to be true or desperate.

Yep, it's getting reprinted, I've known that. However, currently still goes for 30ish, so getting it for 20 is pretty cheap. And on top of that, I believe it's being released on March 30th, and I sort of need it for YCS Long Beach on March 24th.

And yep, the banlist does come around same time every year, but wasn't expecting Trishula to get hit xD

I played a Wind-Up deck on DN that involved getting out Zenmaity and just pulling out wind-ups from his deck/graveyard (whichever the effect does), popping them to destroy something the field, and repeating until I literally had nothing left on the field. I quit the duel because that one turn was like 5 minutes long. It was just agonizing to watch.

I watched a guy that only take his opponent's hand off while having Zeinmanes, limiting options and letting him nothing to do other than attempting destroy it and forcing it to use its effect.
It was so frustrating just to watch.

This game is each time less fun....

By the by, anybody getting the Battle Pack: Epic Dawn booster box? There's a new type of rare card in it, 5 cards to a pack, 36 packs (or 180 cards) to the box in a 220 card set. Cards include a reprinted Tour Guide from the Underworld, Dark Magician of Chaos, Leviair (I think), Utopia, etc...

Price will probably be around $65.

I went 2-1 because he just drew poorly and i went first game 1, but got rat/hunter combo game 2 and its stupid.

Lavals are REALLY good. In the OCG, I think they are high Tier 2. Samurai do better than Inzektor / Wind-Ups do against them. (Although they lose to them all pretty bad) They do REALLY well against DinoRabbits though. Plus, they are fun to play. They get countered really easily though, which is probably my biggest problem right now.

High Tier 2 is not really good. I AGREE that they are really good, I just think they're better than "High Tier 2"

Most combo oriented decks that can't keep up advantage after busting their combo tend to fall off. Top decks usually just loop their really dumb, op plays over and over again until their key card is limited.

Personally I've been all about E-Heroes recently. Tech in 3 Hydrogeddon as my water targets for Ab Zero and also because Laggia breaks the game. But it's cool, it's clearly not as broken as like, trish.

Dragons are sort of sacky. But... they have so much support and so much stuff to use. With the new Heiroglyphics coming out next pack, expect to see a lot more.
