How would you react if instead of a roster, you only get ONE Smash Bros. character, but each player chooses what character it is, and the staff worked very hard to give you a custom moveset that is non-standardized, highly intricate, and appropriate. The time it takes to master the character is tremendous.

HWYR if all of the DLC characters came with an echo fighter (Echo doesn't have to be of the fighter it came with, the echo fighter just has to be from the series) (for example, Min Min gets Ninjara, Piranha Plant comes with Dry Bowser, etc.)

A little disappointed that the first indie fighter was from an unfinished game and not someone (like, basically anyone) from Devolver Digital, but it's a big step forward and I'd be optimistic for the future of Indie Game in smash representation.


HWYR if instead of that vague ARMS reveal at first (where it said "one of the characters from ARMS is getting in as the next smash fighter") but instead it was announced to be a character from Devolver Digital (and for some reason the character that eventually came was Jacket from Hotline Miami)
