Since there are at least dozens of obscure, but likable videogame characters out there, as well as dozens of notoriously unlikable/panned ones. HWYR if Smash 6 focused on adding likable/acclaimed videogame characters?

I would at least want to see Bowser fight other video game main villains as well. Such as Sephiroth and Neo Cortex!

Since everyone in Mortal Kombat versus and arcade modes is logically a villain for obvious reasons. HWYR if Scorpion and his arch-rival Sub-Zero got sentenced to jail in a fanmade webcomic?

MegaMan.EXE (RockMan.EXE/MegaMan Battle Network) was playable and Sonic.EXE (That indie horror game Sonic OC) was an assist trophy/assist character? MegaMan.EXE and Sonic.EXE both have ".EXE" at the end of their names, but the former is a Capcom love exalted, and the latter is an indie game hate sink. Lately, the Sonic.EXE indie game franchise has expanded beyond a deliberate piece of crap, as the newer installments such as Nightmare Beginning, Blood Scream, and Spirits of Hell feature full-fledged storylines, lore, and character development.

Marble Madness doesn't have any likable or hateable characters as far as I know. So just a stage or spirit representation would be best.

Since assist trophies are a creative way to include characters as non-playable roles in-game. HWYR if in Smash 6, Eggman got promoted to playable, Lord Brevon (Freedom Planet) got an assist trophy and Mii Costume, and Frieza (Dragon Ball) just got a spirit. Lord Brevon is a hate sink, despite being from another critically acclaimed, but obscure videogame series.

Shadow (Sonic's-Arch-Rival). A spinoff dedicated to the main protagonist Sonic's rival? Sega needs to at least make a better spinoff dedicated to Shadow, given his acclaim from viewers, alongside Kazuma (Yakuza), and Akira (Virtua Fighter).

Since Yu-Gi-Oh! and Digimon are more or less the two most famous Pokemon clones/Monster collecting franchises out there. And the former is owned by Konami, and the latter is owned by Namco. HWYR if in N.I.C.K (Namco Indie Capcom Konami) all stars, Dark Magician, and Agumon (Digimon) were both playable. It would be splendid to see a matchup between a Yu-Gi-Oh! monster and a digimon.
