Great comerical, wish they made more like that. Anyway i like the 360 (but i would need to see more of the ps3 to fully comprehend is capilities)

Just got my 360 yesterday. Love it.
I had to get one of those 2 game bundles/ dvd remote dealie thingies. I got DOA4 and PGR3.
Ive only played DOA4 so far and i just love everything about the system in general. The blade things, the xbox live interface (which i admit was hard to work at first, migration of your original account is kinda annoying) but there is one really cool thing i noticed:
Okay, when u make an accoutn on xbox.com, you're asked to enter a motto (21 letters max), so since i couldn't do my normal motto (We don't save, we avenge) i just thought, hey let me enter Semper Fi.
So im playing DOA4 on the casino level, and what do i see written on an electric banner? Semper Fi.
I know it's just a really insignificant thing, but man is that cool.

Good game choices by the way. PGR3 and DOA4 are outstanding games.
The 360 is having a major game drought right now, which is normal for a new console... but I really would like some games. Thankfully, March will rob my wallet of any cash. I plan to pick up Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, Burnout Revenge and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (online system based off of Halo 2 and more multiplayer options than Halo 2, woot!).

It's not unique, it's one of the pictures in the Penny Arcade picture packs. There were only a few default gamer pictures I liked, so I bought the Penny Arcade packs and the Seahawks logo. I really would like some more Halo and DOA4 gamer pictures.

ah, im probably gonna get one of those too once i get some more cash...that and geometry wars. Maybe ill get the Quake 4 pack for the Strogg pic, or the PDZ classic 2 for the killer instinct...so many choices...

Hey how are u rank [a or b i think] in DOA4? I managed to go to C+ and down again in less than 40 minutes (due to lag/ a players being in matches with d players)
Osco, plz don't do the troll. You have the option to buy gamer pictures, you have the ones included on the harddrive and some games have around 5 gamerpictures that automatically install to your harddrive when you put it in your 360. Emblems are about 20 Microsoft Points for 1 and usually 80 for a pack of 5. 400 points is equal to $5, so you do the math. They're very cheap.Osco316 said:

That...was... amazing. When I first started watching it I didn't even notice the bar at the top. When it switched to the scene showing 360 footage I was thinking 'this looks way better than the other scene.' The I noticed the bar at the top of the comparision screen. And it's not just a minor difference either, the difference between the two is huge.
I would be completely sold on the 360 if its library just had more variety. I want more Kameos and KoToRs. Maybe Rare will pick up in this area. Banjo 3? I would like to it in my lifetime. Hopefully developers will release game that they don't think will appeal to the majority of 360 gamers on XBLA. I can't live without my platformers.

I really want one of Rare's next games to be Banjo 3. Live & Reloaded looked absolutely beautiful on the Xbox, and the Banjos on N64 and Conker's BFD looked extremely alike in terms of graphics, so I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that Banjo 3 would be gorgeous on the 360. The Banjo games were so much fun on the N64, too. It'd be nice to get some platforming in. Just browsing GameFAQs I came along this though:

Says that GameInformer's newest issue says that one of Rare's two titles currently in development is codenamed Viva Pinata. New IP or just a crazy codename? There is going to be a cartoon TV show, trading cards and more to go along with it when it comes out. Seriously makes me think Kameo 2 with the trading cards, but we'll see come E3.

Some of the gamer icons u can get from rare's pack is banjo and kazooie (...that is very hard to spell btw) so i wouldn't be surprised if i saw one coming up in a few years

To Osco: You don't have to pay for these. As was said you get free ones on your hardrive and free ones when you buy some games. If your not satisfied with those you can buy one for less than a quarter. I really don't see what the big deal is.

Is it just me or does Viva Pinanta look really fun?
It sounds alright. Pretty original idea by Rare. The article style is great and the graphics are amazing from what I've seen so far. I really enjoyed watching a little gameplay clip that showed one of the evil pinatas breaking a sick pinata open and eating the candy inside of it.

oh i have alot of 360 games now, so let me just recommend one game:
G.R.A.W- Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. It is honestly the best 360 game out right now. Right after that i would put DOA4.
I know, the ghost recon games are wicked difficult, but GRAW makes you want to get better (which you eventually do). I don't know about the multiplayer mode though, so far the best multiplayer games IMO are DOA4 (lag is surprisingly down) and PGR3. Call of Duty 2 would be up there, but i really dont like the entire system/menu thing. Personally i think Halo 2 got the online shooter format down pat, and Call of Duty 2 sort of took a step back.

I tried GRAW as well and got the same results. **** that game is awesome for the first 3 missions, then it gets horrible, especially if you're playing co-op and your friend is a loser>_>.Wiished said:
