Nah, I'm pretty sure it's still 80-20. The truth is, getting this set up in a matchup like this is really difficult, considering that Diddy will/should be all over the place with bananas. Again, like I said on AiB there's really no reason why you should be using Bowser vs Diddy in the first place, but if you are, this is kinda neat.

EDIT: If my questions in the Q&A thread are answered the way I think and hope they will be, my opinion of Bowz v Diddy might change a little bit.

I'm not gonna bother to try and learn how it works lol (but by the looks of what I'm seeing it's just footstool, Vthrow the banana [V = down], z-catch, klaw & repeat)

Since I've been on WiFi for like the past 2 weeks doing 85% doubles and 15% singles (I got ***** at the last minute TWICE, both weeks on the same day and couldn't go to the two tournaments in NY...megafacepalm) I haven't faced too many characters besides your standard Ike in 1vs1s anyway. I've been using R.O.B. again too....eh I'll just post my question in the Q&A thread.

You should definitely get it quickly. Its an awesome game so far, probably the best in the series.

Practically everyone has a banana lock on diddy now, I can't see it making much of a difference for any character let alone bowser.

Held a tournament on Sunday by the way. Came like 13th, johns aside I wasn't taking it too serious (one of my starters I played on was warioware) considering I'd decided all proceeds would go to one of the other smashers in our scene who was hit by a car, so there wasn't much on the line anyway. I'll get a top 10 for you guys next time

The difference of -5/-10 points is fairly moot when both characters **** Bowser so hard in the first place.

You can't move vs either character, there almost equally bad in my opinion, maybe at most a 10 point difference, regardless diddy is like 7:3 and IC's are 8:2, which means not winnable at high level play.

Most definitely, yes. But we'll go into more detail on that when we start rediscussing match-ups shortly. For now though... can no one help Roxy?

Also, even if Angry Bulbasaur started winning, Mario and Luigi would just pop over to Rump Command and then Bowser would start ****** him, his mom, AND his girlfriend.

I'm trying to get a system to create matchups faster and easier...

It will need around three unbiased, relatively skilled snake players, and about two players from the opposing character.

It would start off with the three people (i guess you can consider them the panel). Discuss the pros and cons of our character (in this case it would be bowser), by now these should all be very well developed. We will also look at the pros and cons of the opposing character.

When all of this is finished, the discussion will go public, where all the pros and cons are listed, how they affect the matchup, stages, etc. Public people will share their opinion and a general summary of the matchup can be made from here.

The panel will then decide on a match-up rank (ex. 60:40).

Here's where the two players from an opposing character come in. They will re-read the summary, explain some pros about their character that we might have left out, so on and so forth. They will also make a summary of how the opposing character should and most likely will be playing this match-up. Then with those five people we will reach a general agreement on a match-up ranking, this match-up and summary can go on both boards.

I sent this to you because you are running the match-up board, I'm trying to see if we can implement this in boards to make match-up threads get generally finished.

I am not a part of your backroom, however I'm going through all of the character discussion boards to get something set up that will expand the brawl metagame. If you could discuss this amongst the bowser backroom and see if this plan could be implemented i would take great compliment by it.

OCR has made another album for Donkey Kong Country 2. Some brilliant remixes in there, and DKC2 honestly has one of the best soundtracks of any game I've ever played, and trust me, i play a lot of games. In fact DKC2 is one of my favorite games ever, think i might replay it now.

*sigh* without RARE, DK is nothing. How i miss such top level console platforming.

Familiar enough, I've heard the original OST multiple times beforehand.

On the other hand though, some people have listened to the original DKC2 soundtrack so much that any remix of a DKC2 track just sounds like it's butchering the original piece

Ah ok, no problem.
Very few remixes do end up as good as or better than the original. Dave Wise's soundtrack was possibly as close to perfection as a video game soundtrack has come imo, can't really think of another OST from the top of my head that's been as brilliant.

EDIT: I wish the OCR they did for Kanon's Klaim was better. I like it but they could have done without the lyrics. Oh well, can't please em all i guess :/

The song is absolutly outstanding. I heard it once when looking through the OC website and literally held down the loop key for hours. It was just to good ^^.

DO IT. Seriously. It would be nice to see a Bowser CV that isn't a few years old. That would also give me a good time to release mine, since Kira isn't exactly looking to release his any time in the near or distant future x.x
