Lol, it seems that Nintendo may have the "inferior" console, but 360 and PS3 are stealing their ideas.

360 took Nintendo's Miis and now PS3 is taking Nintendo's dumb gimmicky controls.

I think I'll stick with my old skool consoles. Nothing beats SNES, N64, PS1, PS2...

First let me just say that i have absolutely nothing against the PS3, and like i stated earlier i have plans to eventually purchase one because there are a few exclusives that I'm really interested in, if more pop up then I'll prioritize the PS3 a bit more. For now though I'll stick with my Wii/X360+DS combination, its just too good and there isn't enough for me to justify a PS3 purchase right now.

I'll consider abandoning Nintendo when they stop making the best games, and with the likes of Galaxy 2 and Sin & Punishment on the way i see no signs of this happening. This isn't blind fanboyism, i go for the games that interest me the most, plain and simple. I have nothing against the PlayStation Move either, I've read a few hands on articles and it sounds great, I'm just appalled by the execution and the fact that they believe this will magically draw in the crowd that jumped on the Wii. The industry isn't that black and white.

You should join VGC BK, it's really interesting! I go there often for sales data and industry talk and maybe the odd bit of news i don't see on other gaming sites. Btw the game collection i have on my profile there is my actual entire game collection (updated regularly).

EDIT: Actually, i will also say that i dislike Square-Enix. Their talent has slowly disintegrated as the years have gone on (because key people keep leaving, for good reason too). I will buy certain SE published games that are great but there really isn't that many this generation that are outstanding and the ones that are are usually developed by somebody else, like The World Ends With You and Dragon Quest IX. I mean seriously, the two games I've enjoyed most this gen by SE have been a remake and a port of games from over two generations ago!! Final Fantasy XIII is great but that did not live up to the hype, i don't know how they managed to ruin Crystal Bearers which had over 4 years of development time, and they're so scared to make new titles that they keep sticking the Final Fantasy name on them just so people will notice them, like Four Warriors of Light! End rant.

I think people find it very frustrating to play, especially online. There's an imbalance with Recommended Item Setting imo, shells are too powerful and the Blue Shell is as nasty as ever. The Thunder Cloud doesn't help too, worst item in the history of the series. People over exaggerate it though, they usually just suck and blame the game because of it, i for one didn't have that much trouble reaching 3 Stars+9999VR.

Oh and the remake and port i was referring too was Chrono Trigger DS (the port) and Dragon Quest IV (the remake). I've enjoyed those more than any other SE game, I did love The World Ends With You, but not more than CT and DQ.

I dunno though, its not what bothers me the most, its the item power and that god forsaken thunder cloud that ruin it for me, usually I'm too far ahead for blue shells to ruin me... unless i go up against someone else who's just as good or better.

It speeds you up whilst it's counting down to your doom. It also can be passed from player to player through contact.

Don't even get me started on female characters, they all piss me off. I don't like fighting Peach at all, or more specifically i don't like fighting Siri's Peach. You just can't hit the *****. Turnips are nigh unbearable and I find it really difficult to get in. I'm not even going to bother explaining Samus. Zero is just unfair, she doesn't make any sense with her frame 1 jab and high priority aerials. Zelda's ******** and doesn't belong in Triforce Tier, I can't DI out of her god **** USmash and that stupid DTilt > UTilt combo at semi-high percentages is annoying. Jiggumz can't be touched when she floats in a specific zone just above reach from up angled Ftilt and offstage is not fun. Sheik and her FTilt need to die in a fire. Squirtle is somewhat deal able... but she's still a *****. Nana is... look, you're fighting a losing battle, just drop the pad. And then there's Krystal, omg can she be any more of a **** with her long *** staff and.... oh no wait she isn't in the game...

Bowser vs Zelda is easy. Is it an even matchup? No. It's still Zelda though. You don't DI out of that Usmash, you just don't get hit by it. As for Dtilt into Utilt, that's total fail dude. You won't get killed by it.

It's certainly in Zelda's favor, but honestly, Zelda is the least of Bowser's problems. Trust me on this. Zelda sucks.

I would like to extend a formal welcome to Godzilla of Brasil as they call it. Welcome to Smash Boards. Keep representing Bowser in the southern hemisphere, that way Lord Bowser doesn't have to do it alone.

In other news, it seems someone is making an effort standardize match-up discussion. *shock!* Here is the PM I received.

I'm trying to get a system to create matchups faster and easier...

It will need around three unbiased, relatively skilled snake players, and about two players from the opposing character.

It would start off with the three people (i guess you can consider them the panel). Discuss the pros and cons of our character (in this case it would be bowser), by now these should all be very well developed. We will also look at the pros and cons of the opposing character.

When all of this is finished, the discussion will go public, where all the pros and cons are listed, how they affect the matchup, stages, etc. Public people will share their opinion and a general summary of the matchup can be made from here.

The panel will then decide on a match-up rank (ex. 60:40).

Here's where the two players from an opposing character come in. They will re-read the summary, explain some pros about their character that we might have left out, so on and so forth. They will also make a summary of how the opposing character should and most likely will be playing this match-up. Then with those five people we will reach a general agreement on a match-up ranking, this match-up and summary can go on both boards.

I sent this to you because you are running the match-up board, I'm trying to see if we can implement this in boards to make match-up threads get generally finished.

I am not a part of your backroom, however I'm going through all of the character discussion boards to get something set up that will expand the brawl metagame. If you could discuss this amongst the bowser backroom and see if this plan could be implemented i would take great compliment by it.

It's to make breeding Egg Moves onto them difficult; it's the same for all rare, breedable, gendered Pokémon.
