*falls into a really obvious plot hole in A Clash of Kings*

Oh noooooooo! How is this series so well recieeeeeeved?!

Now, putting aside the fact that this series leapfrogs from character to character, this plot hole starts in one of Tyrion's chapters and a failure to keep continuity happens in Tyrion's very next chapter. Long story short, the Queen's daughter was supposed to go to one place and her son was supposed to go elsewhere. This was set up by Tyrion without her knowledge. Suddenly, in the next Tyrion chapter she's complaining about her daughter... going to the other place that the son was supposed to go.

I think only once did I ever see a continuity problem in a series and not only did that instance occur because of later prequels, but it has long since been fixed with reprints. I'm currently reading a reprint soft cover of A Clash of Kings. This silliness happens within the course of two chapters of a character. Did anyone edit this? I mean, they usually hire people called Editors to catch things like this even for authors who actually know what they're doing.

Does it matter which youngster goes where? No, but I'd rather not be horribly confused and have to go back and reread chapters to make sure I read everything right when reading a book. It's kinda, you know, annoying.

Additionally, Bran is now my least favorite character. Here's every Bran chapter ever since the first book:

Being crippled sucks. :'(
Good god, I don't think I can take another Bran chapter. Yes, not being able to walk sucks, but you know what you need to do? Build yourself a bridge and get over it. You're not going to get less crippled moping about it ALL THE ****ING TIME, so either make the best of your situation or at the very least do me a favor and throw yourself out another window. You're the brother of a newly crowned king of a fairly large place that is still at war with the southern lands it seceded from and presumably three other parties. I promise you there are a LOT of people in the realm that wish they were you right now, broken legs and all. Like that child with Arya. The Crying Girl. She very likely watched her friends and family die and the only home she'd ever known get torched. I think you're ahead of the game here, Bran.

Also, do we ever find out who Jon Snow's mother was? They made it this big secret that Ned couldn't tell anyone and he's dead now so... what the ****?

Zz have you even played the game? I've had it for a full week today, and I've played many a game.
I put at least 30 hours in skyrim this week.
After my first 6 hour sitting on the game it was definantly my favorite game ever.

Saying it sucks is actually silly. Things a masterpiece!

Bad troll is bad. I didn't use to mind trolls 'cause they were doing it just to annoy people and I can respect that. Now people do it just for the sake of doing it which is not cool.

*some spoilers below regarding A Clash of Kings*
Also, to add to my last rant about Bran chapters in The Little Book Series That Somehow Could (and Did), Bran is apparently turning into a wolf... I guess... someway... somehow... for some reason. I don't know. He started dreaming he was his direwolf at night and in this last chapter he started DAY dreaming about it. And, also, some visitors from a swamp know... something... about it.

Sorry, I should have specified. I was calling out Fluttershy on their trolling. Only crazy people and publishers whose games came out after Skyrim dislike Skyrim. Other than that, the number of people that dislike Skyrim is exactly zero. It's theoretically impossible to not like Skyrim.

Also, is everyone ignoring my book rants, or are you just tired of trying to defend them against me? :( *doesn't feel loved*

Theoretically impossible my ***.

I have legit played and bought Skyrim, and just yesterday returned it because I disliked it. I hated how easy it was to glitch the game, I hated the fact that companions have AI equal to a rock, I hated the lack of customization it had compared to the old games, etc.

Jaydeth: While I'm certain that the plot hole you mentioned earlier with the Myrcella doesn't exist, I'm far too lazy to go and check. Also it doesn't help that I know you're actively going out of your way to nitpick about the book haha

I'm holding out on Skyrim so there will be more bug fixes and mods, I'm still pretty busy with Dark Souls atm

I just never cared about books lol. Only a few have captured my attention for more than 25 pages.

And Harry Potter. But even then, no interest.

I read the occasional fan fic if that counts, but only ones that have been recommended to me by my fan fic reading friends.

Glitches?! In a game in this day in age of gaming?! Say it isn't so! :U I've run into my share of glitches as well, but I've yet to find anything that kept me from enjoying the game. This isn't New Vegas we're talking about here.

I hated the fact that companions have AI equal to a rock,
Clearly Skyrim is breaking new grounds in being ****ty. *eye roll* I've seen way worse and frankly I'm shocked at how well they perform as is. Also, you don't have to have ANY companions. They're optional. And the ones the game forces on you during quests are invincible anyway (to the best of my knowledge).

I hated the lack of customization it had compared to the old games, etc.
What lack of customization? You mean all those perks you choose from that have way more of an effect than what you find in Fallout games? (I get half as much radiation when drinking radioactive water. Radical!) Or how about all that armor you can forge from metal you smelted from ore you mined? Or what about the large list of different Shouts you can use to do everything from summon storms to becoming ethereal?

And if you don't think it's fun to just be walking around the country side and going, "HOLY ****, I'M BEING ATTACKED BY A DRAGON AND OH MY GOD, IS THAT ANOTHER ONE ON THE HORIZON?!" you clearly fall into the category of crazy people. :p

@Flyal: Sir. You could at least have the professional courtesy to check before writing off my claim. I even checked again just now and yes, it's there. Compare what's going on in page 274 of this copy at least (mine obviously):

And then page 318.

Tyrion: Tell Lysa and her non-Dornishman self she can have Myrcella.
Littlefinger: Righto.
Later...
Cersei: How could you scheme to send Myrcella to the Dornishmen?
Tyrion: Them's the breaks, kiddo.

Oh, is that the part where he lies to several people about what he plans to do with the kids to see who tattles to Cersei?

Cuz if it is I'm disappointed in you Jay

I didn't know there are people that would willingly admit to this. Oh my god

If it is, he's doing a good job of not letting the reader in on it. Which is pretty magical considering that these books read from a first person perspective.

EDIT: Besides, it doesn't make any sense if it isn't a plot hole. As I said, both the younger son and the daughter of the queen are interchangeable, it doesn't matter who goes where. So, assuming it isn't a plot hole, it's known for a fact that he told Littlefinger he was sending Myrcella to Lysa. Now, let's assume, that in the letter he sent to the Dornish dudes (the only variable here) he wrote that he'd send them Myrcella. Okay. Why? To what end? Me thinks Tyrion might be in a bit of hot water when the Dorns and Lysa both ask him when he'll be sending Myrcella considering he's trying to get them both on his side.

Skyrims full of glitches. Every open world game is full of glitches.

The game has legit story, aloooot to do, open world games are fun, you can get married, there's humor, there's dragons, you can use a sword and shield, bow and arrow, sword and sword, daggers, magic, two handed swords, battle axes, warhammers, shouts, alchemy, enchanting, smithing, thieving...

It's like being a member on runescape.
Only it's fun.
