Again, she probably didn't even know that the Wii can read discs. She most likely just bought the game packages for her son, thinking that he would know what to do with them.

She thought that because the first one didn't work, it was just an internal error in the machine. Sometimes, you have to press the button more than once on a soda machine for the soda to come out.

If they had followed the instructions given on the screen and advanced in the step process when it came to "inserting card information", they would have been brought to the screen in which you type in your credit card number on the Wii, using the controller.

My conclusion is that she was naive. Because she didn't follow instructions, she faulted on utter failure, total facepalming-action. She is also naive for trying to sue the guy that was trying to help her, another shining moment for her. (That's America, we sue our hearts out)
