Reasons why I don't talk about it that much because people try to stereotype or label me and my actions and relate it back to that. No.

Me against the world helps me when I'm stressed beyond measures like now.

Most likely he wasn't serious but why I'd say it's indirectly homophobic is because you say that you would go as far as taking your own life for **** on your face. I mean I wouldn't want that either but no reason to suggest that.

Though, N9NE, I'd like to hear you make a case about hip hop NOT being generally a vocally homophobic genre of music.

I honestly am slightly confused by Lil B. When I see songs like Wonton Soup and Ellen Degeneres I laugh and can't take him seriously. However, after hearing songs like Trapped in prison and I hate myself it confirms that he's a real troll lol.

I'm Gay isn't that bad.

Lil B seems to be very "meta", meaning that he is exceedingly self aware, and this shows in all of his songs/works. Sometimes it works for me, a lot of the time it doesn't. I would consider Lil B one of the first truly dadaesque hip hop artists ever. It's strange, Lil B is by far my most respected modern hip hop artist (very very very barely beating out Kanye) because of this aspect of his work.

I'm Gay is actually really really good. Lil B is awesome. The only thing, I wish he could blend his artistic values with an ear for listenable music. Instead, Lil B is all about the message and artistry while ignoring the reason most of us listen to music in the first place, the immediate emotional response we get from it.
