How is everyone liking the patch differences?

PvP feels a bit wonky, as it's scaled for level 90. But no complaints otherwise.

Yep, healers are finally not too squishy anymore... I doubt they aren't going to patch things up, though.

I think everyone <mages got more> got a 40% damage output nerf... seeing as it's tuned for 90. I don't think it's too bad, but that's because I am a healer.

The totem system is weird. Elemental is actually good now.

I just know when I come back though my items will be gone and some hacker used my account as a farming thing

Hyped for future lore based scenarios
When one happens, it'll be the first.

Starting. We're on a boat, being told the siege failed and to get in there and mess some stuff up. Wait, What siege? Why did it fail? What's going on? A cutscene intro would have been nice to start it off, set the scene, make us feel excited and invested.

The actual objectives I didn't mind, other than the severe under-tuning.

Ending. Rather anti-climatic. Goblins rock up, drop the bomb, back in org. No sight of Jaina? Was she even there? No sight of the destroyed Theramore? Why not port us onto the deck of the Zeplin so we can see it and then take a port from the Zep to Org?

Rewards. Mini-manabomb is cool, though part of the transmog lover in me wishes we had a cool tabard or something too, but that's just a minor complaint. The other, tangible rewards however...

Concidering it's end of expansion, the stats on the gear are worthless. But model-wise, some cool stuff, right? Nope. I like having a few things normally unavailable to classes (Mail helms as leather (although there's already pleanty of leather beast masks :/ ), cloth/leather circlets as plate) but other than the white wizard hat and mage staff, everything else can already be obtained ingame, without anything particularly special about them. The most plain swords and axes, a gun from quests... The pre-wrath invasion had recoloured judgement gear for all classes, gear that you can look at and go "oh wow, I know where you've been!"

Overall, really disappointed.

Me too, the scenario was dreadfully boring gameplay wise. And even in terms of lore, it was as you said, underwhelming and not the pinnacle clash of Alliance vs Horde I expected it to be.

Also, check your mail, you get a tabard for completing the scenario. It's a nice tabard. Also, Jaina is not neutral anymore I don't think, she's definitely pro-Alliance. Speaking of drops, ilvl 384 gear is useless, that's like dungeon junk. LFR drops ilvl 390 gear, I think.

I've been wondering, any a shaman since the last patch?

I heard they were changing them from being buffers and stuff to the totems being more utility or something?

How are shaman now?

Probably because everyone hated him anyway, and numbers are decreasing so they thought if they knew they were getting a chance to kill a character they hated it would keep some people/ bring some people back despite the apparent hate for pandarians

>_> Garrosh isn't the final boss of the xpac.

He is a boss, however.

Also, Psycho, you're kinda off-base about Blizz killing Garrosh, with 'kinda" being somewhere on a far-flung planet.

Shaman main here.

They are a really good choice for healing raids now. Totems stack, and lots of AoE's.

I have never played Enhancement. Elemental has lots of burst damage and crits now.

Shamans excel when it comes to immobile close quarter stacked healing. Healing Tide and Healing Stream Totems <and Spirit Link when you're running out of available CD's> mitigate the squishyness that was Shaman pre MoP beta. Chain Heal is renamed Jesus Heal from now on.

They are still squishy though. We still have crap mobility, too.

I was the first one in line to get Pandas tonight. Oddly, there wasn't very many people at the midnight launch.
There were quite a few people at my midnight release. I was actually kinda surprised.

I was the first one in line to get the xpac, too. I'm really enjoying it so far. Pandaria is gorgeous.

*MoP beta test invitations*

Seriously how late can these guys be? I don't recall EVER getting a fake beta invite when the game was actually in beta v_v

I changed my email a long time ago when I got hacked while playing SC2 (which subsequently gave more wow time because the hacker reactivated my account), but I still got tons of fake invites on my original email and none on my new email.

I constantly get junk emails about my accounts having suspicious activity and so on. Makes me chuckle.

Just realised that it's almost 1am. Damn pet battles.

Anyone cool I know playing? Someone might get me MoP and I was thinking about coming back. I'd be rerolling Panda Monk. Pretty experienced in WoW. Raided in Vanilla/BC/WOTLK.

Is MoP worth buying? I really didn't like cata at all, but I've been considering reactivating my account for MoP.

Most people seem to agree that Cata was the low point. I'm enjoying leveling my main right now, I haven't hit 90 yet but the zones are mostly awesome. However, it takes a really long time to get to 90 so if you don't like leveling that might be a pain for you.

As for the Monk its so far the only melee class I've ever really enjoyed and the playable Pandas and their starting zone is freaking awesome.

I have 2 85 toons, so leveling is not an issue for me. I guess I'll pick it up along with a 60 day card then.
