i would add luigi( which im not saying just b/c of boss....that character in general is completely ********!)and pikachu (all these new cg's are gonna make him really big),

with both of those above him that makes 15....which is what i said earlier.....TL is IMO top of mid tier

No, Anther was better. Toon Link has more range, better camping, and significantly more priority. Luigi has horrifyingly bad match-ups in the top tier that prevent him from being very good. Ice Climbers are pretty awful once you learn how to not get grabbed all the time by their tiny grab range and you ban FD in the set. The IC infinite got banned in VA and it's limited in TX; they suck even more now.

@Knightmare: DK sucks. Your state just gets ***** by Bum because he's better than all of you. Bum can't win in NJ, lol.

Luigi not that good, trust me once people understand that Luigi always has to approach, and that he kinda sucks at approaching safely, then he starts to drop. Get people to "air camp" him with even some of his more even matchups, honestly he's just kinda meh.

Oh and we have ways to get around on the CG rule.

Wowwww I didnt even realize DK wasnt ahead of TL there. Rofl DK is definitley better than toon link.
Pikachu is better than Toon link. His top tier matchups werent even that bad before having the advantage over D3, going even with falco and barely losing to snake and sort of to mk. With all this new grab release BS all those matchups just got that much better as well as having some stupid **** ones vs mid/high tiers like Wolf,shiek and fox now.

IC's are better maybe not with cg restrictions but without them they are definitley better. Especially with decent to large advs over both d3 and falco.

I agree that luigi is worse cuz he gets ***** by alot of people. Toon link is decent but not that good out of all the chars you mentioned

We have good TL's mainly Lio right now until soup can go tourneys thought but anyway, All the other characters you mentioned beat him. He doesnt have advantages over the last 4, only possible one could be lucario I dont have much idea about that one and Gaw is one of his worst matchups... What happened when you played them? You probably ***** them because toon link fails miserably vs mk which is another reason why hes not that good.
Tl has like no potential to win decent tourneys. Hes alright but he has no real advantages vs anyone worth mentioning and still loses to a few characters worse than him.

Santi or Jerm want to address any of those matchups??? I just believe toon link is top of mid

All the best toon links are like not even top ten in ther region except for I think quivoo? But his state isn't that good.

First game against Quivo, I twostocked him at high percent. The next game was on FD and it last last hit. I barely won it. Against Santi, it was a teams set where me and Atomsk beat him and Dojo 3-0, and we both thought he was incredibly hard and doing better than Dojo most of the time. No "mid tier" can really make your opponents feel that way when your partner is Dojo's MK. I played Jash twice in singles. He beat my Marth 2-0 in two close games at CoT4. Next time I went MK and twostocked him at mid percent first game and then won a very close game, kinda like what happened with Quivo. I played Jash in teams that day when his partner was ADHD and mine was Atomsk and we won two kinda close games 2-0.

Quivo is easily top 10 in his region. Santi might not be, but his area is very strong. He told me he likes fighting MK and that it's not that bad of a match-up. Jash is definitely top 10 in NY and better than most of NJ.

Toon Link can't win decent tournaments because of Meta Knight, Olimar, and Falco, not the other characters.

Inui is kinda right about not winning tournaments because of MK.....to a certain extent. In all the regions every notable toon link main does good but has some good players. I can do decent in md/va. Quivo does good in MW/Ohio region. Santi and Jerm do good in TX. Jash does good in NY/NJ. Chip does really well in WA/North Cali. HR does good in LA....etc. Of course no TL has won a big tourney maybe a few minor ones here and there but look who always take top placings in the big tournaments...MK, Snake, Dedede, falco.... Toon Link at best is at mid tier/high mid tier so its alot harder to win with him then said characters.

Lobos, the others kinda do better than you. Quivo does the best because his region is the weakest, but he's actually really good anyways.

MK isn't the biggest problem for TL...maybe he is because of sheer numbers, but the TLs I know/play with hate Falco and Olimar more.

For the banned techniques, I think we all know that Marth can infinite, I think it is every character against a wall with his DTilt. Will this be limited as well?

Same with Ike's and D3's throws against a wall.

Thats why I said I do decent, I really only go to tourneys like once a month now and its not like I practice much. I can see falco being a problem but not olimar >_> and that really depends on who is falco or olimar. I know how good some of those guys are, more props to them ^.^ TL isn't an easy character to be good with.

Yeah. The ice block thing isnt an infinite. You can tech the fair.

You can also do the footstool thing and others but you need to ask Hylian about that
