Wifi match-up training for us fox mains. Must read.

This thread is to help one another with bad match-ups and/or match-ups they do not know. Please, remember that this is just not a thread to post who you know how to play but a thread for us to let one another know what they can improve in with certain match-ups. If you don't need any help what so ever then just say so, if you do, then please say so... the reason I say we should help one another is because since we all main fox i assume we all know how to fight fox with our other characters, so it's only right that we practice with each other not to make our other characters better but to help out those fox mains who don't know the match-up. make sense? let's get started...

oooooooooooooooook lemme re-explain myself... this all started because i offered to help uzi out with bad matchups, and thats the purpose of the thread. It is for me to help anyone else out with bad matchups as well. this was not I repeat not made for all of us to post and say "hey i can play these characters too". Also i dont need any help in any matchup period but i kno that some others here do. So if YOU don't need help then just say it because i'll make sure this thread gets closed real quick.

I'm kinda interested in learning how to play Fox against Marth. I realize it would be stupid to pick up Fox as a Marth counter, but I'm not a fan of picking CPs based on matchups; I want to stick with something I already know and like, and that's Fox. Kirby has a difficult time with Marth, and Fox possibly has it even worse, but I would like a chance to learn how to play Fox against Marth if possible. :D?

Diddy, Ike, Sheik, Zelda, Pika (won't cg unless you ask), CF, Lucas, and Lucario...and ZSS and Fox, of course.

I'm also not bad at giving advice with anything you may be doing wrong.

Fully understood. If I was able to actually go to tourneys and friendly good players consistently, I wouldn't even log into Wifi.

Oh no. WiFi has its uses, limited as they are. As long as you have a specific mindset (that is, learning the general flow of matchups) when you're playing WiFi, you'll do okay. Just don't take that same mindset to brag about winning or use it to judge your skill level.

I like this statement quite a lot.

Wi-Fi is very legitimate for practicing reading people, learning general matchup ideas, and trying interesting stuff out.

It is very, very possible to beat a better player online, when you wouldn't in real life... so just don't take it as brag rights...

minute lag doesn't affect on/offline play after a while of playing both, and getting used to it. Major lag realy hampers any sort of legit play, and as such, I would say just don't play wifi if you have really bad lag.
