haha funny story..
one day i was playing a kirby.. flashed off battlefield twice and lost. i was so mad i tossed my controller and it hit the wall. i picked it up to play the next match and it didnt work. i was furious so i curb stomped it, broke both sticks and the handles.. then realized the next day it was unresponsive because it needed new batteries.

OH MAN! Myself, Cosmo, and Black Hayate live about 40 minutes away. We can travel almost anytime. GOOD ****!

And you get to meet the famous EoF!

woot! im 20min away man and im itchin to play smash with ppl that know that theyre doing.. none of my friends will play me and im not getting any better :(

i urge you my WI friends.. set aside the gay jokes for a few posts.. and post if youre close to the madison/sun prairie/marshfield area!!

Haha, I actually saw that EoF was in Marshfield on the first page of this thread. I'm glad to hear that there are people nearby. I was concerned that Marshfield would be too far away from everything.

I expect lots of Wisconsin Smash tournaments.

i havent been able to find a lot of tournies man, madisons last one i found was in april. usually gotta go down to the windy city

edit: kish you playin brawl or melee?

You don't have to pay the whole 25, just what you want. The Entrance fee is mandatory if you're entering any tournaments, but after that,you can choose one, the other, or both. So if you enter singles yes, it would only cost 15.

Tokerella, at tournies, there are always people who show up and need teamates, I know a few locals who will prob want a teammate, glad to hear you can make it.

Cool, I'm looking forward to jumping into the tournament scene. I think that the 12th is too soon, I'll have just moved. Maybe I can hit the one on the 26th.

Also, I only play Brawl, mostly because Bowser is no good in Melee.

LOL saw that in a sig yesterday dude. oh mj.. after that the whole day i went around singing "ooo.. ooo... ooo OOO!"

lones there good ppl at the WI tournies? im not so much looking to compete and win.. just going to meet some ppl to play with via wifi/get together

Yes, a lot of good people will be there.
Cosmo, Tapion, Tink, Big C, and Chexr will all be there. Should be a good tourney.

But kish, when are you moving in? I know myself and cosmo and juan would be available anytime. We can smash once you get there to break in the new place =P

And Toker, me, juan, cosmo, devy, and sago all live in the Point area, which is about 40 minutes from Marshfield

err.. sorry i dont mean skill wise i meant 'good folk'. as in not "wow look at this scrub, wtf is he doing here" kinda ppl
