Hi
i've heard, that the LVL 7 CPUs are stonger than the LVL 9 ones
the LVL 9 ones have inhuman reaction, which sometimes is a bit depressing -.-
but is the ai of the LVL 7 CPUs really better than the ai of the LVL 9 CPUs?

LV. 7 is better than LV.9?

Can someone oppose or confirm this?

I would say level 8 is better on some(Link, Gdorf, Koopa). Generally passive level 9's are better on 8 IMHO. For aggressors(Peach, both DK's, Pit), 9 works better but they're nearly identical.

I'm not too sure about 7's.

I sometimes quit a LV. 9 Luigi battle, just so he doesn't upset my temper. LV. 9 Olimars are also pretty annoying.

A lot of the level nines spam neutral a. It's really ****ing annoying
Only the continuous neutral A's like Pikachu, G&W, Pit, Diddy Kong, etc. LV. 9 CPUs playing characters with the three hit combo-thingy for their neutral A don't tend to spam it.

I'm most afraid of my Ice Climber level 9's.
They can usually manage to CG me 3 times in a row before they mess it up, but only at low %'s.
Still though... They pick up on some difficult things.

My Pikachu can QAC every once in a while
And Snake mortar slides occasionally too.

Basically they pick up on AT's I use on recorded matches.

My Ganandorf is mentally ******** though. Why? I have matches of only punch at Utilt saved on my Wii. He thinks that it is a good idea and just repeats it over and over again.

CPUs dont learn from you, btw.

Since Lv 9 CPUs have inhuman abilities and Lv 7 CPUs dont (as much maybe), it might just be an illusion that theyre better. However, when I think of it, Lv 7 CPUs might show off a more "human playstyle" than Lv 9 CPUs, thus making them more... human like? and more likely to be played against.

If any of that made sense, which I hardly think it did.

Then how would they ever be able to use AT's like that?

They have spaces in their memory and take button inputs from human players to fill that up along with their original intelligence.

Brawl isn't the first game to do this, so it is nothing revolutionary.

There are plenty of thready about this demonstrating how CPU's "learn."

Wouldn't it depend on who your character is , as each have different strong and weak points.

I don't know which is better, lvl. 9 Peaches or Luigis.

Luigis will Shoryuken you all over the place.
That would be Peach, since she shield-grabs often.
Plus Luigy CPU air doge too early resulting in an easy gimp.

Hmm. Well, I think CPUs can actually chaingrab you from time to time, some of mine have done that while I havnt chaingrabbed them.

My Pikachu QAC'd the other day, while I have never QAC'ed a Lv 9 CPU Pikachu before (nor have I a replay of me QAC'ing).

I once saw a video of someone "teaching" a Lv 9 CPU Lucas in Training Mode. What the player did was to short hop over the stage (FD), while the CPU did the same. The player eventually added aerials within the SH, and so did the CPU.

I tested the same, but I did mainly nothing, just walked on the stage. What did the CPU Lucas do? Tried to attack me with short hop aerials. (I have never actually fought a Lv 9 CPU Lucas before).

But for a question, what other games have CPUs that "learn" from you then?

This is really off-topic I noticed..

I happend to get hit by C.Falcon Knee, instant KO while I'm trying to gimp him.
But the that's was the only one where CPU counter attack.
By the way a Falco can pwn a CPU Pikachu any day, reflector rolf.

Yeah, that was me btw.
That he was tea bagging, I mean : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXNQo71shCQ&feature=channel_page
You know what funny? I don't even tea bag. Where the hell did he pick this up?

But it gets worse. When there are Pokeball items on, he upgrades himself to soopah Link.
No one should ever see that video... its..... horrible.
I just don't wanna ruin it for you guys.

I think CPUs do teabag sometimes, I have no idea why, but I guess its some flaw in the programming lol.

I mean, a Lv 9 CPU Pikachu once teabagged me during a match. I mainly stood still to see what he would do, and he suddenly did some random teabags out of nowehere.

It looked hilarious tho.

Luigi is by far the hardest cpu...
Pikachu spams thunder while edgeguarding, and I can't get past it.

The easiest cpu is probably DDD, DK, or ZSS.
