Nice. I think SFII and any of its expansions was the first fighting game for a lot of people here. Including myself. xDMelee in 2004. I had just turned 15 when TG6 happened.
My first fighting game in general was SFII Turbo when I was like 4 or 5 years old lol.
Why not go to smashfests or tourneys with no door fees and get tons of friendlies? Those are fun and very helpful. :3*sighs* My first real fighting game was ssb but Ive never played competitive. I would like to get competitive over brawl someday... when my father decides that a brawl tourney IS NOT A WASTE OF TEN DOLLARS!
Yeah, it was one of the only papers where I had a lot to say about the subject. Naturally it was easier for me to write. Anime conventions seem pretty interesting. I'll have to go to one sometime. I'm probably never gonna cosplay, but if I do, it's gonna be a falcon helmet.Thats pretty cool! (The paper thingie) Another great social gathering is going to anime conventions! :D They are so fun, as long as you make it fun!![]()
Cosplaying is fun though! xDYeah, it was one of the only papers where I had a lot to say about the subject. Naturally it was easier for me to write. Anime conventions seem pretty interesting. Other fighting games i'm interested in playing competitively would be various street fighter and guilty gear games, and blazblue. Mainly because my smash friends play them. Too bad I don't actually have them.![]()
Who is your team in TvC? :OMelee and Brawl are the only ones I play competitively
However, looking to try out SFIV
Also trying to get a TvC scene going on here in perth![]()
Ehhh don't worry about it too much, just play it with your friends and have fun, I mean once you get a car or go to college which ever comes first you can play whatever game is pop then seriously.Blegh Id like to go to smashfests but my father also doesnt believe in them. He thinks there must always be a catch. So here I am stuck doing wi fi to better myself
Man, I need to get some of my Brawl friends into GG. It would be rad.I don't play competitively, but in terms of skill I'm pretty darn good at Guilty Gear X. I never liked X2 (gasp) and Isuka was just spamming Grand Viper lol.
GGXX isn't necessarily the same as Accent Core. There are about five iterations of XX games. To above posters:
GGXXAC is really good man I don't know how you can like GGX better it was so broke.
