So, right before tournaments, what do you do to make sure your tech skill is perfect and stuff.

I usually start practicing wavedashing by myself in my room without a tv.

Then after that I practice lcancelling, you know just pressing the R button some times.

Once I'm done with my warmup, I start drinking some liquid cuz that stuff

makes you work up a sweat.

Then, it's usually about 2pm at that time, so I start listening

to Radiohead, I can only listen for an hour

cuz otherwise, I'd probably commit suicide cuz they're that good/mellow

So, it's like 3pm now, and I'm like hmm what should I do

I then go over someone's house and start actually training

then we don't get drunk cuz that's illegal and stuff

we usually stay up all night cuz that's what cool kids do.

I've actually lately been having trouble vs falcon for some odd reason. I don't think I've been playing enough of them.

What specifically do you need help with though? Below stage low damage... far away low damage...?

Umm vs falcon at mid percents I've been doing rising nairs, I guess I would wanna know how to stop reverse sweetspots, and up b's that would grab me from below the lip. Also for just in general you mostly tech chase dthrows for damage vs Falcon right? at what percent would you try and hit him with a dash attack to fair while tech chasing?

You mean dash attack to dash attack/anything you ****ing want? I usually do it around 40-45ish. Tech chasing falcon is really gay because he can't shine when he techs in place instantly.

Also, Falcon can't sweetspot except on battlefield where he can do that fancy under the stage thing except most Falcons can't do it. Going offstage freestyle is cool along with dsmash.. even though they can tech it.

Hey, Sheiks need to practice tech skill. Hitting that shield button without a tv helps me a lot!

@ soap: don't drink before tournies

But if you do anyways, drink lots of water during the night while you are drinking, and drink lots of water immediately the day after, the majority of hang overs are caused by dehydration from the alcohol (from drying you up in general, and in general making most people pee like a pregnant 13 year old girl)

I play friendlies with Unknown522 and then he tells me how he's not good anymore and then builds up my confidence to do well but then when the actual tournament rolls around he 3-0s me in one of the finals and 3-stocks me on various stages. It's been my ritual for the past year. It seems pretty poor though. Anyone have any suggestions?

Practice, and listen to some Slipknot and Killswitch Engage. Do some boxing, then rest abit. Eat, then practice again then go to the tournament while listening to Slipknot and Killswitch Engage.

Sounds good.

Now substitute that for better music. <3

My preparation for tournaments is:

Stay up until 5 am the next day. Wake up at 6, or 7, and drive to the venue, if in another City, or sleep in until 11, and rush to the venue.
