The problem with DDD is that he goes too far away. if hes on a slope you can get him and if you are against a wall you can CG him by:

dthrow
crawl backwards
he falls in front of you
grab again

repeat

remember you have to shield before the grab or else you will jab

i highly disagree, if you use the bike and tilt up on the stick while driving it you do a wheelie and its much harder to punish then, and is great for hitting opponents on the ground. and if you throw the bike off the ledge while your opponent is recovering it will continually kick them down, bouncing off their head and basicly drag them straight to hell. its like a spike, but slower, and done with an item. its hard to pull off, but i think its awsome.

PKNintendo: " Anyway, my question is quite simple, is there ANY way to use wario's forward b in battle. IMO it's useless."

Bike is also a great onstage finisher tactic. Throw bike up at opponents launched in the air above you that are coming down to stage, wait for them to get hit, if they dont, punish their air dodges/movements and launch them into the bike's path. Two smacks from the bike or more is plenty enough for a finisher, either a fart or clap, or a fresh bair at higher percents.

you can also use this as a way to chase them to where they land, closing off options for them where TO land. If they land right where you want them, grab them and throw them into the bike's path, preferably a back throw.

Those are just the tip of the ice berg of what you can do with the bike against certain characters. It's not a viable strategy against all characters, though, I'll admit that.

who can that work against lol
Anyone with a floaty, slow horizontal aerial speed (peach, luigi), fast fallers (spacies), heavies (D3, Bowser, DK), air stallers on the last few jumps (Metaknight, kirby) just off the top of my head.

If you immediately think Metaknight will get out just because of his options for recovery, he can tornado, but he will be out prioritized by the bike. He can shuttle loop and get hit by it. He can dimensional cape but lose his jumps, and he can foward B but still get hit and lose jumps. About the only thing MK can do is glide away accordingly, and that isn't a given either, considering he may have already used his glide doing something else, or he might simply mistime his glide versus your bike up throw.

These scenarios are all predictions and based loosely on mistakes, but for the most part they limit what the character you're fighting against's options are TO get outta the way. For the best results, chase them to the other fourth of the stage near the ledge where you hit them towards or they just happen to be in the air above (like FD, way up in the corner or something, like Metaknights happen to be up there sometimes after a hit...) and utilize your bike there. You're basically planning for their return to the ground and the bike almost immediately guarantees their descent to the ground is faster, or they are trapped in the bike.

This is just some examples. There are more things you can do, but I'm sure you'd have to have the patience and reading skills and also have the ability to mix it up so you're not too predictable.

I'm looking to pick up a secondary specifically for Rainbow Cruise, Brinstar, and Norfair. Based on match-ups, my options are most likely Marth, Wario, DDD, and then Metaknight. However, I do NOT want to use MK.

How good is Wario on each of these levels? If he is good in two out of three, he would do the job because I can simply ban one of them.

Brinstar: Godly. Best CP for him.
RC: Okay. Could get a little tight against characters that favor the stage as much as him. (MK, Kirby, D3, Game And Watch)
Norfair: Extremely well if played correctly. It really depends though because this stage can be extremely frustrating against characters like Metaknight or Game and Watch.

Basically never ban Brinstar. Always ban RC unless you really like the stage. Norfair is a toss up, you shouldn't be playing there anyways in real tourneys except for MLG, which IS a real tourney with a little flavor XD

To be honest though, I would pick Wario to counter most things. Norfair isnt gunna stop IC's that bad, if thats who you main. (Im not sure entirely tho...) I think Brinstar is IC's worst level, so having a pocket wario for that is good. RC is the one to ban in this case.

Yeah, I'm an IC main getting tired of getting rolled on BrinFairCruise by MK haha.

In regard to your Fair quandary, it's not great for IC's but it could be worse. Our UAir game makes the stage playable. The lava + Nana, not so much. I actually feel more comfortable on RC than Fair with IC's, but both are still an uphill battle.

If you're looking for a secondary just for those stage counterpicks, especially if it's against a MK, MK is definitely the best choice. I have a pocket MK for MKs that cp Brinstar/sometimes Rainbow, lol.

Ah thats good to know, I didnt think about uair. Well in that case just ban the one you feel like you are worse on personally or the one that you feel your opponent will choose automatically.

Wario is definitely over rated, i said it a long time ago that there was no way he was top three and everyone laughed at me. now hes number seven. then i said he was mid tier and everyone laughed at me. now people are saying hes mid tier.

Captain Falcon is garbage. Somewhat irrelevant though. The only people that overrate him are the ones who don't know how to play this game properly. Marth, not so sure about him. The only reason people overrate him is because he shuts down a lot of characters almost entirely.

Wario could easily be outranked though.

wish you didn't forfeit in that tourney......
same here.

also hungerI havent gotten a full real bracket set or even a friendly set with Ally yet. Everytime we play it's always one game and then he's gotta go cuz of tournament... lol.

I've played his snake once on Halberd in pools. and almost had him. he tanked the whole time and I got killed by the stage XD
