wtf is wrong with daylight savings. unless you wake up at 5:00 to do gardening or go to bed before 9 theres no harm. everyone over 18 better vote for it <_<
I love it when people say this after other people have stated "what is wrong with it". It's like they're ignoring the opposing view completely. =/

@BoB

If your going to want to install homebrew channel then your going to need an SD card that you can keep in your wii (at least if you plan on doing any brawl modifications). Also, you will need to be able to read the SD card on your computer. Just a heads up :)

It now cools down a lot later so anything you want to do still has to wait, it messes up kids sleeping patterns having to go to bed when it's still light. By the time it's actually cooled down enough to go out for walks and stuff it's already past the kids bedtime (Last year it was still 30 degrees at 7). And as a Teacher in training it's just great to see kids walking home in 2pm heat at 3, which also sucks for afternoon and afterschool sports. :/

It's needlessly complicated, has been shot down a number of times already, and just isn't needed in a time when we can communicate instantly over long distances. And the few people who need to do stuff with the eastern states can just get up an hour early.

That is my solution to the problem as well. Those in favour of daylight savings should just get up an hour early, not make the whole state fulfill their wishes.

We should be discussing this in the social room :p

Well yeah it should be a social room topic but heck this still works.

I really think it comes down to daylight savings is good or bad depending on your job, or what your doing.
For example I like taking jogs at sunrise, so it's around 7 when I do it instead of 6, which is fine, but say if I started work at 9 and I wanted more sleep then it's a disadvantage, but if I didnt sleep its less time of waiting and more sleep.

So it all narrows down to what you do and how you like it, myself we went OVER 9000! years (exaggeration) without it, I dont see us needing it now, plus with America , England and that getting daylight savings at different times its confusing. Contacting relatives is hard because Im either 7,8,9 hours ahead now. Just complicated

Hmm well the only reason I like it I suppose is because after school on friday i like to hang around with my friends until 9pm and heaps of interesting people from places come round that we are friendly with and we play basketball. also when noone comes round we play THE GAME (its like golf through the school with a basketball, its insanely fun :D)

Bob, would you be able to come to tournaments at Joondalup on saturday afternoons?

I know it's a bit far, but I'd appreciate the effort you make. You can just take the train.

You're just replacing existing textures, you can't add any.

Stack Smash has a pile of textures (That's where I got most of those ones I used last tourney)

There's also KittyKorp as well where I got some others from, like Portal Suit Samus.

I wouldn't do that if I were you, I am extremely picky over the signature violation rule. Just a heads up.

Dont trust him he plays wolf..!! Vlade yeah joondalup is fine i got no qualms catching the train up to tourneys etc if you decide to hold any in the future after my next one.. Just give me a heads up or we can discuss at each tourney who will host the tourney and when.. Either way i have no issues travelling or hosting as long as the scene keeps pumping..

Jupz i like your sig btw... How did you make it im too lazy to do one of my own..

Hehe. On the signature subject, I got a private message from a moderator telling me that you're not meant to show your signature if its bigger than you're post. So I just got rid of mine. On the plus side, on pages where I've posted, there will be less to download.

MESSAGE TO EVERYONE THAT IS PLANNING ON GOING TO THE NEXT TOURNAMENT!

"Day light savings ends on Sunday, 29 March 2009 at 3:00 AM local daylight time."

3 AM people, so make sure you put your clocks an hour behind on the 28th of March.

I was also wondering if anyone had a link/picture of the stage that people make to collect all the stickers.

Alright I spoke to Joondalup Library, and they said I can do it.

The venue fee is very reasonable. They said that it would cost more if there was prize money for the winner/runner-up, but there's no reason they have to know about it ;)

It's going to be the 11th April (saturday) probably from 1pm-5pm.

They have one TV which we'll have to pay for, I just need to know who else can bring a TV? You will get free entry into the venue if you bring a TV since we need them so badly.
