Anyway so today in states bball training we scrimmaged the year below us (under 17's or 16's I think). We ended up dominating like 30-4 or something ridiculous. Was lots of fun. We had this one play were I the ball would be passed to the opposite side to me, I would cut baseline and recieve the pass halfway between 3 point and keyway. Of course it was much more complicated like if he couldn't get the pass off the massive 6 foot 10 guy would come up, screen and roll towards the basket and he got in a dunk or two lol off that. But it was good fun anyway.

Sagat isn't that bad, long way off being metaknightish. I mean he has a 40:60 match up against Gouki.

Me and Proxy have gotten into SF4 since you saw us last pete, we should play online some time. Proxy is quite good (compared to other palyers I've seen thus far) and I'll be slowly getting there.

On a some what related note I'm going to be slowly transitioning to maining Fox and only using MK in tricky match ups ie Vlades Falco and Glens ICs.

I'm enjoying how technical fox is, and since I feel tech skill has always been the worst part of my game I feel playing Fox will improve me as a player. Plus getting ****ing bored of MK, Snake, D3 etc etc etc.

Also hey guys, im looking at having a party in december after i get back. im looking at venues. what im hoping for is to hold a night of live music (a few bands i know) at a licensed venue, if anyone has any suggestions as to the location i am all ears.

Kane i'm interested in your choice of maining Fox_ I've seen he has some rather unfavourable matchups, but with some of your character experience i'm sure you will be able to find a decent counterpick character for those_ This is the same reason i decided to play Shiek over Olimar_ More technical challenges in terms of actual playstyle, which always feels so fulfilling when you pull it off_ Good luck with that, can't wait to see it in action_

Imo Fox is one of the most under rated characters on the tier list atm.

He has a few terrible match ups but I'm relatively profecient with most high tier characters so if I have to play Sheiks, ICs, Electric Rats and Possibly Falcos though I'm undecided on that one atm, I'll just use MK, Snake or ICs.

Sagat vs Akuma is 50:50, not 40:60, and nobody except Akuma and Sim give him a hard time, and Sim only gives him a hard time if you've never played a Sim before (which you won't have).

Have english exam on Monday. Don't know what the question is going to be it will probally be related on theme of the dark knight and how the use of camera angles, lighting, dialogue and all that other crap are used to convey theme or beliefs and values. I will be studying and forming my essay structure tommorow then on sunday i will just practice writing it out alot of times to remeber the quotes and things that happened in the movie.

If you want someone who's technical, play TL, seriously, he's massively technical. But imo, fox just has too many issues. Too gimpable, too light. Although don't take what I say too seriously, as always pointed out to me, I usually don't know what I'm talking about.

I'm just going based on what I've seen and done . Versed someone in a friendly once, they were Fox and I was MK, 3 stocked them easily because of MKs dair being used on fox, NOTHING the fox can do.

Yeah, that's what I meant by needing to have played a Sim before. You have to be abnormally patient with any character to beat Sim, and expect to rip your hair out with Gief vs Sim. Sagat and Ryu are pretty much the same except Sagat's FADC ultra combo does more damage and Sagat has better blockstrings, so its slightly in Sagat's favour. If equal skill levels and know the matchup (lol don't know how to play Ryu or Sagat) then Sagat should win.

Toon Link is a character that to be good at you have to main. By having him as a secondairy just does not work.
