Lucky it wasn't a wasp though, it could've stung you more than once (and god they BURN so much more).
Bee's never bother me. Unless I think they're Wasps (which I usually do). Once I see that they're bee's I'm fine.

I've been stung by 3 wasps in my life.
Once when I was like 6, on the arm. Pretty sure I broke the logic of sound when that happened.
Last year, one wasp stung me twice on the leg, then once on the head (right above my right eye).
Last year, (right near the end) got stung twice (I think, could have been 3 times) on the leg. STILL have a mark from that. They leave a scent in you which lasts for a while and attracts other wasps to sting you as well.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY HATE ME SO MUCH. I DO EVERYTHING I CAN TO AVOID THEM.
I'd rather be in a Category 5 Cyclone than in a 500km by 500km wide enclosed stadium with just ONE Wasp in it.
I remember once in the supermarket some Wasp was flying around, and stung a girl who was like 7 years old on the arm, then while she was screaming the thing stung her on her TONGUE as well. She was admitted to hospital and almost died.
I HATE THEM.
