But, a few notes:

Goggles - grats on taking it to the next level, man. Stepped your **** UP.

Vibe - Your marth is pretty good, you make the right decisions quite quickly. Come by our tournies more often, dude, it was cool to have ya. Next time, I'll think a little more and not unknowingly step into a hard matchup round 3. =P No johns, I should've known.

Acton - FFFFF STANDOFF. I CROUCH, WITH JUSTICE. Your game's improved a lot in the past two months, but one thing I might say- you know what stages are good for your falco and all, but you need to, more than just that, be quite comfortable with them yourself. Sure falco can camp on japes, but you had a hard time doing it because you're not that used to it. Make sure you're confident in your counterpicks, whenever possible.

1. I was not very happy to set up Melee as the first tournament, as Brawl was supposed to be finished first so all Brawl setups could be converted to Brawl+ and be played in tandem with Melee setups. I did this to accommodate some players who really wanted it early.
2. DON'T MAKE ME WAIT FOR YOU I had the venue rented for 11 hours just in case, but somehow the Melee players managed to eat up more than 4 hours before we even started because some how an unpaid SSF4 tournament was more important to them. If I'm going to wait for you, then you better have a good reason for it.
3. RESPECT YOUR T.O. I'm sorry, but Melee seems to be a game that causes too much trouble to run, I don't have a copy for my own setup, hell you need a completely different game disk unlike +. I'm sorry, but if you're asking if I remove my favorite game from a tournament that I tried to place it in, you're mistaken. If you're going to ask me to make suggestions to the TO, please not try to enrage him or her in the process.
4. THIS IS NOT AN EXHIBIT TO ACT LIKE MONKEYS take that very close to literally, I don't mind excitement and screaming when something amazing happens, but don't be hopping, screaming, and throwing crap across the room every single second.

how late did it go? cuz i was in henrietta so I stopped by at like 7:45 and walked around those ****ing tunnels for like an hour or so before I called it quits and left. I thought it was going to mid-night for some reason. maybe not? wasn't too upset though, that band there wasn't too bad.lol

Slashy, honestly, what did you expect? This was thrown together at the last minute and if you didn't expect Melee players to act excited then you're just being naive.

The Melee bracket ran pretty smoothly. Like one player dropped out cause of SF4 and it was fine. The whole bracket didn't take four hours, it was more like two, considering there was 12 people there it couldn't have possibly taken longer.

Also, it's fine if people don't want to enter Brawl+, it's just that no one has really played it and there's not a lot of interest. There's no need to get "enraged" just because people don't want to play in a tournament where you're the only one with any experience with the game.

In the mean time, excitement at tournaments is what draws people back to keep playing. We love hype, and the absence of it means people quit playing. I don't care if drama happens or people are yelling all over the place, we didn't bother anyone else and we can deal with friendly rivalry.

Acting like monkeys is top tier, man. I'll come with peels next time, you'll be trippin' like sakurai. I guess the trippin this time was all that TV.

I've got more respect for melee than I used to, and I definitely find melee matches a lot more fun now that I kind of have an idea what's going on and what the techs are. Melee has so much goofy junk it's hard NOT to like it. TRIPLE UPSMASH COMBO. Matches were hype as **** and awesome to watch.

But yeah, I would've liked it if people could show up on time. I'll put up info once I get space next weekend; but we need to be more on top of setups this time. I'm not that mad since this was last minute this time, but it ain't happening without some setups. And I can't front any cubes or melee.

Also, next time has air conditioning. YEAAAH. Won't need to spam drinks and tire myself out. NATURE used HEAT! It's super effective! Foe SHETH is confused!

Brawl + sucks. We went and got more set ups. We got more people to come and play. You still got **** done on time. for all you know without half those melee kids your tournament would be 10 kids playing brawl on one screen and you playing your ****ty brawl + by yourself.
