What's the schedule for Sat? I think it's about a 4 hr drive so we'll have to get up and leave kinda early. Specifically, we should leave b/w 6-9am depending on when we want to get there (doors open at 10am, melee doubles starts at 1pm). I can bring a full setup (small TV that will fit in Edgar's trunk + wii) to waive a venue fee. Should I bring a recording setup? And I'm guessing we'll leave Dallas at 8pm or later, so get back after midnight. It'll be a long day!

About the next 3rd meeting, Sat, Feb. 27th: my idea to increase turnout is to have a Brawl Singles tourney (with informal side events of course) and to start advertising now. So I'm gonna reserve the room for 4-11pm (unless somebody protests to these times) and print & post flyers asap.
I think this tourney won't involve money but the 4th meeting on Sat. March 6th will have a money tourney and we'll start advertising for that next week.

I might be entering the "Barlw" tourney cuz its a great opportunity to maybe face Hylian or Bored (assuming they're there), so if it conflicts with that, fraid not.

Anyways, I estimate Rohan and I will leave campus around 6pm. Josh says he doesn't have much bedding so bring your own if you want to come with us. Also, there's one couch; others will have to sleep on the floor. :/ We'll be driving back to Austin saturday night whenever Phase 6 is over.

But also, it was because JF lives closer to Kal and Jamal, while you and I live closer to Edgar, itd be less of a hassle. I wouldn't at all mind riding with JF, but it doesn't matter anymore, we'll leave Friday. Like you said, we'd have to get up early, drive 3.5 hours, play all that smash, then drive back, itd be exhausting. This way we split the trips over two days and don't have to wake up early.
btw, if they had B+ I'd be willing to drive, but Barlw and Darkrain aren't incentive enough, haha. Though apparently they might have B-, which is cool.
