Very great and informative "Combo" video on Shulk's strings if it hasn't been added already. Might be worth adding the MArt canceling video as well. And create a "General Tech" section for Shulk.

The only suggestion I have is having a spoiler for all of the player's videos submitted under their tagged username. Saves some time while scrolling if I'm looking for a certain player who's near the bottom or something like that.

Nice battles. During DK and Ike I noticed times where the opponent was able to hit you when you were recovering because you did the second air slash attack. One of these moments is at 2:20 in the first ike video. Sometimes it is good just to do one so that you grab the ledge. So there's that. Idk what else; @ Masonomace Masonomace would have a better idea than I would.

Oh whoa. I fought that Zelda on For Glory the other day, and then had some friendles after. It was fun.

Overall I think I do ok. Something I know I could have done better was not roll as much, keep better track of when the Luma is going to respawn, and be more careful with my throws.

So, I went to a tournament yesterday and I got destroyed by a local top player's Rosalina.

I can see some of my mistakes, such as playing too agressive and using my double jump every time I'm thrown offstage instead of going for the ledge. I think I also missed some free follow-ups at times during the matches, and had some mis-inputs (I often Usmashed instead of Utilting), but surely there must be something else in my playstyle that didn't work well, so I would be really happy to receive some critique on these matches if someone has time for that =)

So first of all, dat counter range.... He's 10 of those floor tiles away from Bowser Jr when he counters. The stage is only 26 long. That's nearing half the stage.

But then there's this:

Hmm. . .so first off nice Vision counterattack,
Second, I don't wanna say that Vision in that moment was an unblockable attack, but what I notice from this is your airborne, & Smash mode is active. Perhaps your Vision's tipper area shield+pokes from countering the fullcharged Cannonball. Was this a regular Vision or were you using a Custom Down-B move?

For all we know, Roy could have dropped his shield just frames before your Vision's tipper connected.

I was confirmed by Masterlinkz from skype that Vision goes through shields, aka Vision is unblockable. Hooray!

Indeed. Which makes Vision the only counter in the game that's unblockable excluding any Custom Specials. So the only thing someone can do when they aren't in the slowing effect's range, is trade with super armor, spot-dodge, roll away, or dash / run / walk.

Thanks :p I believe he was trying to maybe do side b but had circle pad problems and used sing instead. I just put it in there because I had no clue sing had a hitbox or that you could even counter it, let alone KO with it xD

I'm really feeling the finish. If you are up against an opponent that likes to jump out of hitstun, this is a fun way to punish. I like to nair their 2nd jump> land> fair> fair> AS. Works on medium weight characters like marth between 60-80 with speed.

Once I get home I'll upload some more matches.

xD My friend was counting on blocking it and I barely got it on him (I tipped him with the counter... huh). If not for that, I would have lost right there since I was at kill percentage at that point.

UPDATE

No, the Link player made it impossible for you to recover in time by intercepting you with his dair's meteor smash. I'd imagine at the time you just didn't see it coming.
