...but they are being designed around both co-op and versus, it’s a major marketing point, I don’t see how they are different. It literally shows multiple players working for and against each other on the same level in the Direct.

Except they have their own screens.

There is an extremely big difference between same-screen multiplayer and separate screen multiplayer. One lets players go off on their own and not disrupt the other players by holding back the screen. The other does.

So here's something to be a bit creative. There really isn't much to discuss when it comes to Smash characters and what not until probably E3 so here's an idea. We know that Joker brought in a good amount of Spirits, but what spirits would your most wanted bring, and who would represent them?

For this, I'll go with Jill Valentine:

Spirit 1: Chris Redfield
Character: Forest Camo Snake
Effect: Fighter gains ATK damage as they take damage (a reference to Chris getting his ass kicked by Wesker)

Spirit 2: Licker
Character: 3 Red Greninjas
Effect: Slimy floor, enemies try to grab you

Spirit 3: Tyrant
Character: 1.5x size K.Rool
Stamina
Effect: Enemy gains an ATK boost when they take damage

Spirit 4: Hunter
Character: 3 King K. Rools
Effect: Fighters have slightly increased speed

Spirit 4: Zombie
Characters: Wii Fit Trainer Team
Stamina
Characters have low HP, but cause toxic damage when they strike

Just a few examples I came up with!

This is just an observation, but I’ve noticed that the number of post where people are either despairing or crying out for help has really increased in the past few weeks. Maybe finals pressures people to their breaking point, but I really don’t want to generalize people’s hardships.

As someone who has been in a very bad place before, I know the pain and I do want to help y’all out if I can.
