Is said character a Pokemon?

Pokémon that can only say their name arguably actually can say more than one word, by splitting up their name (I.e. Pikachu can say “Pikachu,” “Pika,” and just “Chu.”) Since a lot of real words are just words with extra stuff appended to either end of them, these extra few words can be used to convey a lot of extra meaning that a single word would struggle with.

Noipoi Just try to convey emotion is his voice, so that the veiwers are kinda like, "Oh! I think I know what he's trying to say!"

It's just a common thing for kids in their early teens to be contrarian and have disdain for what the people around them consider "popular". I have a sister your age that's like that. I was like that too, but honestly, I regret it. Kinda wish I would've had fun with everyone else at that age rather then pretend like I was so much better.
