My introduction to K.Rool was with Jungle Climber and a rerun of the DKC cartoon.
He was one of my first videogame villains alongside Bowser and Eggman.

Having him in Smash meant a lot to me.

No yeah I mistyped that, you're right. But still, only half of the students who enroll in college actually graduate (I can cite that if you want) and out of that, how many of them really do something with that degree? How many of them are given the opportunity? College in general seems very scammy in the US.
Many many people are told that going to college is the right thing to do but it's a huge commitment that not everyone can handle.

We're in agreement. I know that statistic. I'm one of them.

I had to leave after my junior year due to a ****ty situation with my previous roommates stealing money from me and had to move back in with my parents. But everything I learned in retail working through high school and college got me other jobs, and my hobbies of building computers, web design and photoshop actually led me to more. I have a good job now and a house, and I never went back to get that degree.

To be clear, though, I wish I had. I had bigger dreams than this. But I also don't believe I was capable of accomplishing them back then anyway. I should have started college in my twenties when I was emotionally stable enough and matured enough to handle it. Which comes back to my earlier point: kids shouldn't by default be expected to start college at 18. Most of them aren't ready and it becomes wasted money and time. They should go when they're ready and have some idea of what the **** they're even going there to learn.

Well hip-hop culture has come into the mainstream in the past few years, and the language adopted from it is used more commonly as a result. It's the same as rock lingo being used more often back when THAT was mainstream. It's not necessarily them trying to sound "gangster" saying these things
