Infernape is undisputedly the best Fire starter. Don't even try to disagree.
Ngl, I never really liked any of the gen 4 starters,,,

I just find them kinda bland...

Every other generation has at least one starter line that I admire a lot.. but not gen 4...

I just look at them, and I can't get personally attached to any of them

I always feel pretty dumb when people talk about Pokemon, because I never actually played a Pokemon game before. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm in the same boat as you. I used to watch the show and collect some of the cards as a kid, but I've never played any of the games. Just not really my thing.

Gen 4 actually has my favorite starters (with Empoleon being my favorite starter in general). IMO Gen 7 has the least interesting starters.

Yeah, I watched the show but I really didn't like it, and I used to play the cards but the rules were too foreign to me at the time. The only Pokemon games I played was Pokemon Stadium on the 64, the little Pokedex thing on the 3DS, and Pokemon Go.
I couldn't imagine my life without Pokemon. It's so very important to me.
I can imagine. I have things I hold dear to me like that, too. I just haven't got around to playing any Pokemon games yet, but I probably will...eventually. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I never even played the actual card game either, I just liked collecting them and seeing which ones I'd get :p

There's a new generation coming this year, and it's gonna be the biggest one yet! If you want, it could be a nice intro to the series.

Ok, here are my ideas for the Godzilla movie that I could comment next weekend or tomorrow if my plans get ruined again:

>Godzilla vs Megalon (A.k.a. The Jet Jaguar movie).
>Ghidorah: The Three Headed Monster.
>Godzilla vs Space-Godzilla.
>The original Godzilla movie.

Which one would you like to see me commenting.

On the topic of Pokémon, I feel like many people know already about my friend Jorge. He is the biggest Pokémon fan I know.

My "how cool they are" tier list for gen 1 Fire types.

S - :006: :059:
A -:038::078:
B - :136:
C - :146:
D - :126:

This tier list is 100% objective fact and is not up for debate. Any accusations of bias are entirely unfounded.

Hey, I have a problem. I was out on a beach taking pictures — there's snow on the beach, it’s really amazing — and I also had my Switch in the front pocket of my sweatshirt to manage my Spirits in between pictures. Anyway, it was cold, so I reached in my coat pocket for my mittens, and a dog bag fell out and started blowing away. I'm not a littering asshole, so I chased after the bag to retrieve it, and, well, my Switch fell out of my sweatshirt pocket onto the beach. Screen-down. Now there's sand under my Joycon joysticks, making them stiffer than they ought to be, as well as rattling around when I move the sticks and getting in the way and possibly damaging something under there. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the sand out?

You need to do some better fact checking, there, partner...

If you're interested in starting the series, I would recommend HGSS, USUM, or one of the Gen 5 Games. Those are usually considered the best in the series. There's also the switch one releasing this year.

This tier list makes no sense. How can they be "cool" when they're all fire-based?

Yeah, but honestly any Pokemon game can be your first. That's what the unskippable tutorials are for.
"B-but Professor, I already know how to Pokemo-"

"YOU NEED TO LEARN HOW TO THROW POKEBALLS, JIMMY. ALSO, DID YOU KNOW FIRE TYPES ARE WEAK TO WATER??? :-)"

Seriously, please let me skip these Game Freak...
