The Sonic 06 fandub is great for many reasons but the best part is the Love Hexagon between Sonic, Elise, Amy, Mephis, Shadow and Silver

Makes sense as an origin film, Sonic 1 only had those two characters after all.

And to add to that, I heard people speculating that the more Eggman-like design that appears at the end of the trailer:

Is supposed to appear at the end of the movie as sequel bait. So if we were to receive a sequel I can imagine that’s where Tails and maybe some other familiar faces will show up.

Not only the design, but someone at Paramount decided to make Gangsta's Paradise the theme of a Sonic movie.

Design should’ve had a lot of reworking.

In terms of music, this definitely should be in one of the trailers if they wanted it to feel like Sonic:

This is the kind of high-adrenaline sound that would make you wanna go 500 miles prowler and would fit the series to a T.

Saw the sonic trailer.

Yeah, at least with DP, they had a source game to work with and it actually seems more competent than it has any right to be (even with the lack of Danny DeVito).

Furry Joker was my favorite character in Forces.

It's really weird that THAT is almost the same reaction that everyone has right now. "This looks awful.....I gotta watch it burn!'
Usually bad movie trailers come out and people go 'This looks awful; I'm not gonna see it', but Sonic seems to have some weird magic to it, like a car wreck, where people see it and know that it's bad, but they can't turn away.

This movie is going to actually succeed, by a pretty decent margin, when it has absolutely no right to lol.
