I feel like DLC characters coming with Spirits, will only apply to DLC characters of series new to Smash. I'm confident we'll get at least ONE DLC character from an already repped series and they won't come with any spirits, just a stage and music.

In Smash 4, only characters from new franchises got stages. They COULD have given Corrin a new stage based of Fates if they wanted to. But they didn't. I always took the fact that all 5 are coming with stages as signaling that they would all be new franchises. Whether or not they're first or third party, I cant say.

If we get any DLC characters from already repped series, they will be bonus a-la-carte characters like Piranha Plant.

Man, I'm just super happy that we're getting 4 brand new characters. Though I can't even think of any more characters I want. I got K Rool so I'm good lol. But if they're all implemented with as much attention as Joker, this is looking REALLY good. My brother plays Smash, but as a Persona fan, the trailer last night got him incredibly hyped so that's cool!

The though of Banjo or Crash getting this much love has made me [redacted].

i agree, though i took the new music to be bigger proof of this than new stages. ultimate only came with new mario, zelda, splatoon, and castlevania stages, so there's room for like a gen 7/8 pokemon stage or something. there's much less room for new music that isn't already included in a specific franchise, though.

Joker's FS only has the Phantom Thieves appear via the portrait cut in, though. It cuts from that to the criss-crossing orbs of shadow animation.
It can't be related to his FS because it doesn't seem to have any extra models tied to it.

I'm legit surprised we didn't get a Sun & Moon stage for Heat-Rath (Ben 10 reference, look it up). Like, I guess it's the least important out of all the new games repped in Ultimate but.... still strange. Honestly there are so few Pokemon stages in general that I'm a little taken aback.

The problem with playing M3D today is that the online co-op and audio aren't great. When you're playing with someone over the internet there aren't many ways to communicate, so you're basically just playing the game normally with another person who happens to be there.

But I love Mercenaries mode in RE4/RE5, and M3D is basically that remixed with character customization, on the go. I bought a 3DS specifically for it and Revelations back in the day.

Plus it has a killer soundtrack.

You're right on the audio & online problems, but as someone who speak French and be in the action at all time. The way the online was was never a problem to me, especially since I usually found great players with me, so both of us usually knew what to do, and if not, the few emotes the character would do would get the message across easily enough, especially since 3D mercenaries isn't that hard of a game once you get what to do, even if the latter mission can be quit tricky at time.

So yeah, I had a alot of fun with this game, especially with others players who were ****ing around. Like I remember a player who had infinite rocket launcher like me, since infinite rocket launcher basically give you a bad score or something, we were just shooting at everything and even each other for fun and lol (since I think it was possible to take way less damages or no damages from rocket). At one point, we both tried to get out of bound by repeadtly shooting ourselves with rockets, it was completely dumb and I still love the memories of it to this day.

Also, I love RE4 Mercenaries and got all 5 stars with every characters to unlock the Handcanon, and I had also alot of great experience on Revelation 3DS online, and while we didn't play RE5 Mercenaries much, me and my sister had one of the best coop experience ever by playing the story together, this game is just a ton of fun when you have a family member to play with, or just someone you know very well. (tho it doesn't beat me and my sister playing RE7 in co-op....by using one keyboard, with my sister taking care of the menu with the key on the left of they keyboard while I moved Ethan & the camera with the mouse & keys on the right to move him at the same time)

it does have mementos phantom thieves models appear very briefly at the start - they jump up, the portraits appear, then the black blobs.

that said, i don't think it's a FS character because it doesn't follow the conventions for FS character models. equally, morgana's tail makes the most sense but doesn't entirely fit the ponytail being a .mchp (maya hair) file.

TBH I'm really happy the FS is All-Out Attack; I was so worried it was gonna be Sinful Shell, and that would have been super boring (IMO) so I'm glad they didn't go that way.

I think the biggest piece of evidence in favor of Erdrick is the fact that his class is called “Brave”.

We can argue about what makes someone Brave, but that’s not the point. The class is tied to Erdrick in ways it isn’t to other people. It’s objectively connected, rather than subjectively.

Plus with the push of Dragon Quest XI on Switch, calling it a “legendary series of RPGs”, that the series is held in high regard anyway.

Moreso than “X IS REALLY A BRAVE CHARACTER GUYS”. Like, that’s one of the silliest arguments i’ve seen about the whole thing, no offense.

Yeah. It's fully possible that "Jane" was intended as the P2 look early on, until it was decided that she didn't fit and they changed the P2 model to his school outfit.

Bought it when it launched and, oof, the game is fine but it could've been better. But it was Resident Evil on the go and there wasn't much else to play on the 3DS back then, so I have a hell of a soft spot for it.

So, this stage was shown in the 3.0 video, and there are people like, "oh? dragon stage? dragon quest confirmed, sakurai's done more obscure hints in the past". but NO. ONLY I KNOW THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER.

It's a black dragon with red eyes. And I've only ever seen something like that once before.
