Depends on who the RE character is.


I mean, even though it's not how she'd play, look at Jill in MvsC2, where he moveset features a gun, rocket launcher, and summoning zombies/nemesis.


Obviously I doubt we'd have a full-on summoner-type character, but "We already have a gun" is a bit short sighted.

I'd like the reference to Jill's MvC2 moveset though.

I like that it's not purely summoning them, but rather just getting the **** out of the way and the monsters attacking her foe instead.

Maybe Sakurai could add his own touch and have Jill/RE character shoot the zombie/monster damaging and killing it but also causing damage to their foe, so they still appear heroic and not cowardly.
