Generally no. But they are often found in hotels and other buildings like that. I have never seen one on the roadside so close to a junior high school next to a laundromat. I would think maybe they would put one up that has a Id scanner.

But people generally don’t carry Id’s with them or don’t have a drivers license (case in point my in-laws don’t)
