I'd say Paper Jam is probably the most looked down upon one in the franchise nowadays. PiT has been getting a lot of love recently, and it's deserved: it's a stellar game, and is honestly tied with TTYD for my favorite Mario plotline. Yes, there are parts of the game that are really rough, but even then the game is still super charming and fun. I'm incredibly disheartened that Alpha Dream skipped remaking it, especially when it was probably the one that needed a remake the most. It has the potential to be the best game in the series IMO, but alas, Alpha Dream went for BiS instead (which really, really didn't need a remake).

I agree. After playing newer games, I forgot how PiT forces you through a few tutorials (including one on how to jump and one on who can hit which colored blocks?? I get tutorials, but these ones overdo it, imo). A remake could remove that. Also remastered music would be amazing. I've just come to really like the fact that PiT still has some of that old-school Mario feel that SS had. Once we got to BiS, modern Mario was in full swing. There's just a different feel to this game that's really neat.

They would probably remove the infinite attacks that copy flowers give you, and that would make me sad.

It's crazy to think 10 years ago that a Racoon would be a household name in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but go back 10 years and tell people that Shazam! is the DC Universe's best movie other than Wonder Woman. That means nothing. Yes, there are people out there suffering more than any of us could ever imagine. But that doesn't automatically invalidate your pain. It doesn't mean what you're going through suddenly means nothing.

Your pain, emotional or otherwise, is just as important as anyone else's. Just because other people have it worse doesn't mean what you're going through suddenly isn't that bad.

Some have it better, but they’re also allowed their own struggles. Surely someone who isn’t struggling in the same way as you is still as valid.

Ah, I can finally relate here. As someone who thinks this every day, you are certainly not a whiner. For me, one of the biggest issues is that I feel like a whiner, and that makes me feel quite selfish, which leads to self-loathing. But whining isn’t selfish. Not remotely. It’s unhealthy to pretend that you’re okay, that everything is alright. And God, there are so many people out there who have it better than you who whine about the most trivial of things. They are whiners.
Your situation is something genuinely problematic, and you have every reason and right to be able to express that.

I don't think anyone online has ever referred to me as my real name (except for in professional contexts), even when they knew my real name they'd call me by my screenname (which used to be "Raiden"). Even my sister and her boyfriend would refer to me in Skype chats as Raiden (in the real world they used my real name).

That being said, it's hard for people here to call me by my real name when only Mythra knows what it is, I suppose technically the Admins would also know, because my real name is in my e-mail, but even then they wouldn't know how to pronounce it (or more specifically, how I pronounce it).

I cant imagine people calling me by my real name here, it would be downright hilarious.
