I mean... Shazam! has Zachary Levi. The dude just oozes lovable personality.

That's the reason 99% of Superheroes movie work. The personality of the main actor. Even Venom and Aquaman are fun because of the actors despite being rather mediocre. It's the reason BvS and Suicide Squad, besides Harley Quinn, doesn't work at all. Crazy to think that an entire movie can rise or fall depending on casting...

This aspect of personality was amplified by each of the supporting characters too, I was surprisingly really invested in the protagonist's close ones (foster family) because of the personality they had. Shazam! shows that it's not crazy special effects or action sequences that make a cape movie (because they were actually pretty sub-par), it's the characters that the movie makes you actually care about.

I don't think anyone online has ever referred to me as my real name (except for in professional contexts), even when they knew my real name they'd call me by my screenname (which used to be "Raiden"). Even my sister and her boyfriend would refer to me in Skype chats as Raiden (in the real world they used my real name).

That being said, it's hard for people here to call me by my real name when only Mythra knows what it is, I suppose technically the Admins would also know, because my real name is in my e-mail, but even then they wouldn't know how to pronounce it (or more specifically, how I pronounce it).

I feel the same way sometimes and I can never take my own advice but comparing your struggles with someone else’s is awful. You’re right, some have it worse. Some have it better, but they’re also allowed their own struggles. Surely someone who isn’t struggling in the same way as you is still as valid.

My name means "Born on a Friday", and that's all you're getting .
For the record, I was actually born on a Wednesday, my mother picked the name because she liked it.
