I’d say keep
for sure. Look into
as well.
and
seem pretty similar to Smash 4, so I’d keep them as well.
is also an option, but her kit is worse than Villager’s overall so I’d recommend Villager more.
is in a weird place this time around. He’s still good, but he’s not as dominant w/ all of the overall Ultimate gameplay changes (imo), still a solid choice.
is... a hard one, she’s nowhere near as dominant as in Smash 4. If you’re pretty good w/ managing Luma, she still may be someone to consider keeping.
For
,
staindgrey
pretty much explains my view on her as well, so just refer back to that post.
Now for a couple more recommendations:
might be a good fit for you, especially if you’re used to controlling 2 characters like
.
could also work for you if you’re great at knowing when to play each Pokémon
might also be good for you if you’re good with managing projectiles like
. Also has a great recovery.
A bit of a weird one, but I’d also look into
a bit. Just be ready for a bit of lag on the aerials.
For a sword character,
is pretty unorthodox, so it’s hard to list another character close to her. I guess if you want a general, balanced swordfighter, look into
.
And now for one biased recommendation:
has decent mobility deals a lot of damage and has some great punish tools, if you use them correctly. He’s a bit high risk, high reward though, so he may/may not fit your style.
