For the talk about about Sm4sh and Ultimate mains, I don't really plan on sharing my thoughts since I'll just be repeating the same answer and paragraph as I did before and not adding anything new. (Well actually, not entirely nothing new. I've been recently thinking about potentially picking up )

It did occur to me that for my reasons for picking up , I always mentioned how there was this one video that was the final factor in leading to picking him up. I just never actually linked or specified which one it was. So yeah, here it is. The video that inspired me in picking in Ryu!

I still enjoy watching the ditto to this day. Though I was alot more excited when I first watched it around some month in 2016.

Characters I like to play and can play from decently to good:

......Man I might as well main the random option by now. This isn't even including characters I've grown more interested in playing like Palu and Incineroar. I just really like how a lot of characters feel on Ultimate.

As for who my mains are: I want to say the Pits, Mario, and Lucina for now.

The gif is funny but I’m worried that they’re choking on what’s in their mouths.

If it's any consolation, they're likely fine. From the looks of it those are just bananas, so they're already soft. Plus opossums are just kinda loud and messy eaters in general. Like they get food all over the place. That and they have more teeth than most other land mammals and all fifty-two of them are pointy as hell. They're kinda designed not to choke on fruit.

: I always loved Ganondorf. Ganondorf was so fun to watch in montages, dittos, you name it. Ganondorf's moveset in general is quite hype. In Ultimate, his smash attack will always be a reliable source to end a stock. The ganoncide died for this forward smash. Ganondorf also feels more mobile in this game, so I am happy.

If you count the biggest fanbases rising up again and dominating the speculation, then yep.

Seriously though, the most things that Erdrick affects is pretty much the SE speculation (which is dominated normally by Geno fans and Sora fans to a minor degree) and thats only if you limit to think about only having a single SE rep. Dunno why a single character downs many other fanbases.

I think I can understand why speculation became a bore lately. It's mostly because hearing the same names can get tiring which makes you lose interest in the scene. It doesn't help that there's an information drought and we haven't even gotten an official look at Joker since his announcement in December. This isn't a problem made specifically by Erdrick or Dragon Quest, but it's caused because of data mining and leaks that have been around for a while and no one being able to debunk them. The only active speculation is about the Square Enix and Microsoft characters, so we're pretty much stuck right now until further development occurs.
