I always liked the Roar version of Thorn in You. As i’m an English teacher, the meaning behind things can always mesmerize me. The feeling that that song more or less causes one to feel is, well real.

Like, when that plays and you’re literally killing your “sibling”, the feels are there for sure.

Then there’s the final boss track, which is also excellent.

Real talk though, where the hell was this?
Definitely the most popular Shadows of Valentia song and it's just awesome. I'm baffled that we don't have just a port of this but 1-3 versions each of Alm and Celica's battle themes and a couple of other Shadows of Valentia songs. I'd trade the SoV ports in Smash for Twilight of the Gods in a heartbeat, that's how much I wanted this song.

Alongside classics like Bee Movie, Planet Sheen, and Cory in The House

Well, I actually like Fates, but here's what I think the general consensus is from the people who don't like it:
  • The writing is often very poor and doesn't hold up to scrutiny (sometimes this complaint is justified, sometimes it isn't), Conquest and Revelation are considered worse than Birthright in this regard.
  • While Conquest has a wide variety of chapter missions, Birthright is almost 100% Rout missions (the most casual friendly FE mission possible).
  • The Children mechanic from Awakening is shoe-horned into Fates where it doesn't belong (with the flimsiest explanation) just to appeal to the Awakening newbies.

Meanwhile I'm excited getting Overlord tomorrow on Blu-Ray. Easily one of the best films of last year IMO.

I think Conquest's second half of maps is rather poor, but that's just me.

Insanely campy, with tons of strong projectiles.
Also, super armor on several strong, disjointed moves.

Like, I'd probably be the most hated character in Super Smash Bros. history.

And I'd own that title.
