Just saw the 7.0.0 Update and wow that's pretty disappointing. They added NSMBU Icons but not Smash Ultimate Icons? That's such a wasted opportunity but whatever Nintendo makes weird decisions all the freaking time.

Scarlett's supposed to be the software for the next Xbox, apparently running on the Windows 10 kernel. By all accounts, it seems to be a new approach that bridges PC and console gaming that also emphasizes backwards and forwards compatibility. Phil Spencer apparently wants to end console "generations".

So, what do you guys think is the worst song in the game? I would say the remix for Now or Never. Just, yikes.

Yeah, now that i’ve gotten to the sewers this should be...entertaining.

Frankly, considering the fact that this is my 4th game (technically 5th game if you count watching 7 on YouTube), I would be totally down for Leon in Smash. The series without a doubt does a lot for the horror genre of gaming.

I don’t quite know what gameplay mechanic Leon would have aside from “doing some damage, and then running away, then doing damage, and then running away”, but I can only see it feasibly working that way with guns...but idk if Leon would work with guns. Then again, I simply don’t know altogether. I just think it would be great.

Then, have the stage with a Mr. X stage hazard that can’t be defeated...you just have to run away from him.

Run away. Run away screaming.

I don't have a "worst song", but my biggest disappointment is that they added a third version of Lost in Thoughts All Alone instead of picking literally any other song from Fates. Its soundtrack was like the only part that's universally agreed upon to be good.

I'm with Noipoi on this one. The Now or Never remix is honestly annoying to listen to. I don't like it at all.

I never played it myself but I believe it was hated for the overall writing.

Lost In Thoughts All Alone is getting a remix (one of the only special vocal ones too) on the FE Expo Premium Arrangement album and it just got a new duet version with Azura's singing and speaking voices. Like, it's a good song but it's been milked way too much, especially with what you said about the song and Fates' soundtrack in Smash. I really enjoy the new remix in Smash and how it incorporates End of All but it's gotten to a point where I'd trade the remix for a couple of more ports.

While we're on the topic, I'm just going to say that the remix distrubution was awful in Ultimate. I think it was a bad idea letting the composers have free reign this time around, because some series get gipped when it comes to new songs or remixes. It doesn't feel right when Castlevania and Mega Man get over 10 remixes, yet Splatoon only gets 4, meanwhile some series like Starfox and Kid Icarus get neglected. Heck, I think Mario got less than 10 remixes this time around, and that just doesn't feel right.

And there's games that got left out, like how none of the Mega Man remixes are from 6, 7, 8, and 10, or how none of the modern Mario, Starfox, Metroid, or Kirby games got remixes, despite that Zelda's, Pokemon's, Yoshi's, Fire Emblem's and Pikmin's latest entries did.

I love the soundtrack overall, but I feel as if there could have been better choices regarding it.

At least we got some general improvements to overall stability. Just what everyone has been asking for.

Side note: if Switch version updates apparently mean absolutely nothing, its possible Smash 2.0.0 will be the same

Are you kidding me? I loved the new remixes so much in this game. Especially the new DK remixes.
