It's always interesting to hear that someone hates a game for the same reasons you love it.

IMO, Sailing, Dungeons, and Story were all fantastic in Wind Waker, and along with its generally fantastic gameplay and presentation, it became one of my top 3 favorite Zelda games, along with Majora's Mask and Breath of the Wild.

There isn't an official sabertooth Incineroar design. As far as we know, he was always planned to be this.

Yeah, but that also depends on their expectations for the game. RE6 sold really well. But they had stupid expectations of it selling 30 million. I think if they kept themselves in line a bit more, it should be fine. Should be being the key word.

I do also question if it's "too late" for the current console generation. Most consoles tend to last 5-6 years right? PS4 and XBONE have been out for about that long. So who's to say for sure.

Most, but last generation made it nine years, and saw multiple new releases after the next-gen consoles released. I've seen a multitude of articles anticipating a 2020 release for the new Xbox and Playstation, which gives plenty of time for new games to be produced in the next 2-3 years.

The big thing is that the common consumer doesn't see the decreasing margins in graphical capabilities as worth the cost of upgrading. They have to sell them on other things like streaming capabilities and other features at this point, much like how Smart TVs and curved screens came about. When you've apparently hit your ceiling, you just make a new ceiling.

Granted a lot of it came from watching PB & Jeff's coop LP and they haaaated the port. There was also a big fuss from people when it initially got announced for the 3DS instead of Switch, so I just kind of assumed people didn't like it.

I like it. I mean, yeah, it should have been on Switch, but 3DS is serviceable even with its flaws, so it is all good in my book.

Because of how damn big Minecraft is in the gaming industry.

It makes huge bucks. I don't see Nintendo passing this on.

People nowadays especially younger generations of gamers recognizes who Steve and Minecraft is so him as DLC is guaranteed to make bucket loads of money.

Banjo on the other hand is from a dead franchise and only known as a whole only by the gaming community from nostalgic fans. I really want Banjo but at this point I just don't see the bear and bird duo sadly happening...

I do not know if this is a controversial opinion or I am just trash at video games, but Sans was by far the hardest boss fight I have ever fought.

It took me a month or something like that to beat Sans. You need to have intense muscle memory, motion power and strategy.

Annddd that is why I never do Genocide anymore!

Really? Well, I guess thoughts on RE3 vary from place to place. Where I was, people were rating 3 in the lower end of the spectrum, even placing it with 5 and 6.

Welp, I'm an oddity I guess. RE3 is my favorite of the originals, and RE5 is my favorite of the modern ones.

Here's an unpopular opinion: I think RE4-- while historically significant and a good game in its own right-- is looked back upon far too fondly by people with rose-tinted glasses. It suffers from the exact same gameplay conventions that RE5 did, but it had a dark color pallet so people still consider it "survival horror". It's not. It's an RE5-lite that's too long and still trying to convince itself it's a classic RE game while RE5 embraces the action genre that RE4 already was.

I'd consider RE6 the worst in the series, followed closely by RE:CV.

I guess it's kind of unpopular, but I love The Phantom Hourglass. It was my first Zelda game ever, so that have something to do with it. I see everyone hate on the Temple of the Ocean King, but it was never really that tedious or problematic, imo.

Honestly I agree with the opinion that there are not a lot of sharp first parties.
All of my most wanted newcomers are third parties. ( Sora, Steve, Sans )

Inner Agent 3 is Nintendo's best attempt at a Dark Souls boss.

Still can't believe it only took me a few hours. The way I won in the end was hype too. Best EX boss ever IMO.

Sorry man. I just don't thin they're that good. They have a few things going for them, Gen 5 has a decent story and Zoroark, and Gen 7 has Incineroar and Decidueye, but that's really it.

Welp... I’m starting back college this week, so I’ll probably be doing plenty of late night posting on this site (it worked out last semester, so why not).

Also, I’m planning to do a way too in-depth look/prediction of the Granblue Fantasy Versus roster sometime within the next 2 weeks, since we’re still waiting on new Smash/Nintendo info.

I’ll probably post it in the NintenZone thread and link it here, so keep an eye out for that (if you somewhat care about what I have to say on that).

I have a good old friend who liked Punch Out but never got the chance to beat Mike Tyson in the original Punch Out.
Sounds intense.

If I were Mike Tyson right now I would request to put a spirit of myself in Ultimate.
Mike Tyson was probably the second or third most notable Punch Out character when it came out.
