God, sometimes it felt like "Lost in Thoughts all Alone" was the only song Azura knew.Ultimately, how much I like the song will depend on how it is used within the game. If it's just instrumental most of the time and then the vocals kick in during the final map or credits, I'll come around but if some blue-haired girl is constantly singing it, I probably won't be a fan.
Ooh, lol I was so confused womp woompI get ya, was just messing with you.
"Anyway, here's Wonderwal- I mean, Lost in Thoughts All Alone."God, sometimes it felt like "Lost in Thoughts all Alone" was the only song Azura knew.
They couldn't have written one more song?
He won’t do any single thing to stop my truth spreadingUh oh! ZINITH DIDN’T LIKE THAT!
I got you...I can't wait for KIU2
*cries in Sakurai*
YOU'RE DONE INme: ew who would want vocals constantly playing in the background of battles
also me:
YOU'LL NEVER SEE IT COMING
YOU'LL SEE
THAT MY MY MIND IS
TOO FAST FOR EYES
If you tell a non-genie your wish, it won't happen. That's wishes 101.The Three Houses theme is pretty good.
I probably won't listen to it on a daily basis, but it's pretty good.
Now make a wish.
"Azura this is the seventh week in a row you've sung Lost in Thoughts All Alone in camp""Anyway, here's Wonderwal- I mean, Lost in Thoughts All Alone."
They sound normal, but still jarring. The lyrics sound normal to me. They arent hard to figure out what she is saying
Reminds me of a line from Guilty Gear Xrd's theme:They sound normal, but still jarring.
I compare it to a literal translation because that's what it sounds like. Compare these two versions of The Day by Porno Grafitti
NateWantsToBattle takes more liberty with the translation to make it flow, whereas Jonathan Young goes for a more literal translation to stick with the original. By the way I like both versions for separate reasons, and listen to both (Though Studio Yuraki does a better job compromising between a literal translation and one with liberties taken).
Maybe listening to it more will help, but I still dislike the lyrics. Lyrics like:
Yet still I hide behind this mask that I have become
My blackened heart scorched flames, a force I can't run from
I long to stay where the light dwells to guard against the cold that I know so well
They just don't sound good to me. It's like a worse version of Lifelight for a game that didn't even need an opening song.
TOGETHER WE WILL SHOW THE WORLD WHAT WE CAN DOme: ew who would want vocals constantly playing in the background of battles
also me:
YOU'LL NEVER SEE IT COMING
YOU'LL SEE
THAT MY MY MIND IS

Pretty much this, except it's completely English so it doesn't really get an excuse. And that doesn't change the fact that they're using EDM and Pop for the opening to a medieval strategy RPG. It's tonally jarring. At the very least Lost in Thoughts fit in that regard.Reminds me of a line from Guilty Gear Xrd's theme:
"Give me a break, you damn" when the more sensible english would be "Give me a break, damn you." Granted the guy's Japanese Westaboo so at least he's got an excuse.
Is it bad that I kind of unironically like FistBump? Like, yeah it's cheesy and the lyrics are a mess but it really conveys the sense of friendship and teamwork that Forces was going for.TOGETHER WE WILL SHOW THE WORLD WHAT WE CAN DO
YOU ARE NEXT TO ME AND I'M NEXT TO YOU
PUSH ME ON THROUGH UNTIL THE BATTLE'S WON
I still dont get whats wrong with the lyrics but everyone feels somethin differentThey sound normal, but still jarring.

evoke a similar sense to me. I'm not going to go into the grammar of the sentences because I could surely do that, but I'm not going to exert that much effort.
This picture cured my depression.Time for some Twitter art:
There was a problem fetching the tweet
I agree. The three houses theme is fine. The Three Houses theme is pretty good.
I probably won't listen to it on a daily basis, but it's pretty good.

Ya know that theme with lyrics I posted for my game yesterday? That’s what I listen to on a daily basis. Listening to it now.The Three Houses theme is pretty good.
I probably won't listen to it on a daily basis, but it's pretty good.

It's actually "Double Edged Blade," and I'll grant it's an oversight of the translation of that song. It doesn't sound that bad either, and this is coming from someone who regularly listens to English covers of songs.I still dont get whats wrong with the lyrics but everyone feels something different
plus remember words have to fit the beat of the song. "Double Edged Sword"
drop me a link, bruv. Forgot to listen yo it.Ya know that theme with lyrics I posted for my game yesterday? That’s what I listen to on a daily basis. Listening to it now.
My composer have it better lyrics and drums and it’s a freaking bop now.

Shows how much I cared for Azures version of the song pff. Shigures version was the one I listend to the mostIt's actually "Double Edged Blade," and I'll grant it's an oversight of the translation of that song. That being said, it really doesn't excuse Three House's theme.
Just for context, this plays during the final boss battle, drop me a link, bruv. Forgot to listen yo it.
Nah. Just means we can expect Fire Emblem Let's Go: Edalguard, Claude, and Dimitri.Uh oh.

Nuance? On this Smashboards? That's one of the four horsemen of the apocalyspe, along with the unpranking of all users, image only posts, and the thread not being declared dead.Nintendo considering ways to get Fire Emblem Heroes players interested/aware of Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
Intelligent Systems is using a popular game of their's (Fire Emblem Heroes) to promote an upcoming game of their's (Fire Emblem Three Houses). We'll probably see a cross promotion of some sort, like if you buy the game you get some orbs or a free five star hero or something like that. It has no bearing on Nintendo as a whole. It certainly could, but it's not like Nintendo is really involved in this specifically.
They said Fire Emblem Heroes players, not Smash Bros players.Uh oh.
