All I'm gonna say is I think both Steve and Banjo should get in but I would prefer Banjo.

On a different Subject though, when I play Gen 1 & 2 should I play the Original versions for the authentic experience or should I play the remasters?
There is no reason to go back to Red and Blue, get FireRed or LeafGreen, even Let's Go would suffice.
Don't enjoy Johto but from what I hear HGSS is generally an improvement in every way

I can't pick a best Pokemon moment, there's too many. But I can tell you my worst moment.

Y'know that little area in Black & White outside of Pinwheel Forest? Before the gate to skyarrow bridge?

I GOT STUCK HERE FOR WEEKS

By the time I figured out how to leave I had a Samurott.
Nice; Oshawott was my starter, too.

I don't know what my worst moment was, though catching Deoxys in ORAS was annoying...

I couldn't quite grasp where the gate was.

I have some problems seeing 3D, 3D glasses don't even work on me, so I guess I just couldn't understand it.
bro why didnt you just wallhug like everyone does when they're stuck in a game

Play the remasters

The original games have aged poorly, and HGSS is widely considered one of the best games in the series

Definitely the remasters.

HeartGold and SoulSilver are considered some of the best Pokemon games out there. It's one of my personal favorites.

ORAS is also an option if you haven't played Gen 3.

Oshawott was my starter in White 2, but my best Pokemon in White 2 was a Lucario I named Mario.
It was level 100 and it was pretty darn epic.
Having a level 100 Pokemon without hacking was something special back in those times.

so, uh.

Would Marina being on an XBox header mean nothing since Mixer is the tab Zombo was under?

I mean we already have evidence for the Nintendo + Microsoft stuffs anyway it's just, y'know, this would be an extra push.

I’d say remasters, especially HGSS. Probably the best Pokemon games imo. For gen 3, I’d say either Emerald of the remakes or fine, either works.

Yo, I know we're all hyping aboud Pokemon today, but can I just talk about Shadow of the Colossus music for a minute?

It's so, so, so dang good. One of the greatest video game OSTs ever made in my book. The cinematic experience that SotC's OST delivers in combination with its gameplay have still yet to be topped for me personally.

remasters if you can find them (including ORAS, battle frontier aside) - there's really very little reason to put yourself through games that frankly haven't aged well, and HG/SS are maybe some of the best pokemon games out there

I didn't expect so many responses lol and I was originally planning to play the Remakes as IIRC they're the better versions I just wanted to make sure that was the case before I commit to one or the other as I wouldn't want to play it then have to switch half way through for one reason or another. Thanks for the help y'all!

I remember when I got super hyped about the physical special split...

Time sure flies...

Scorbunny’s feet are the worst thing in existence.
Ah, it looks good! I hated the shorter, chibi-esque designs of Let’s Go, so this is a nice change. The Galar region looks gorgeous, and damn have they run out of names for the games.

I was watching Arlo's post-reveal discussion about Pokémon Sword and Shield.

"Nobody wanted random encounters to come back!"

*****, what? I actually like random encounters.

If you have a 3DS, it depends on how much you want to spend.

The remakes are better and modernized and still look great. But finding one is hard and they're like $60-70 a pop.

The original G/S/C are still quality Game Boy games and you can buy any of them for $9.99 on the eshop.

I'd say don't play the original gen 1 though. It's overly simple, the art hasn't aged well and you can play through the Kanto region in G/S/C anyway, so.

To make you feel old...

In some time, 2000 would have existed for 20 years!

I remember when it existed for seven years!

It's crazy that gen 7 is ending, I feel like it just started yesterday.

It's even weirder because gen 6 felt like it lasted for a while to me, but gen 6 and 7 lasted the exact same amount of time.

Is this...what getting older feels like?

Old people probably feel the "old feeling" the most.

"Hey Joe, do you remember when we were playing Kick the Can and Tag in the streets?"

"Heh, the first time we learned how to play kick the can was a century ago! When I was only a baby!"

"Old Person: O_O"

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Arlo whine about Hey Pikmin existing? Arlo seems like your average boring dude who thinks everything should appeal to him outside of the puppet gimmick so I honestly expect him to be entitled

Huh, interesting. Gonna have to respectfully disagree there, as I hate random encounters in RPGs, especially in something like Pokemon where I would prefer to choose which Pokemon I fight. This was the one thing LG did better than the main series, IMO.
