This game should be cool. i hope the online is good and they make sure that there is no glitch that allow you to move your character after the KO screen because in Marvel VS Capcom 2 online(xbox live) 90 percent of the people i lose to just teabags/attack my character. lol?

It's generally used for positioning. If someone uses it to teabag you, just block them.

If somebody did that then they will have 0ver 9000 people on the list. everybody i lose to does it. here is a video of a guy teabagging his defeated opponents

LOL People teabagging after a KO?
It's all about comboing a fallen an opponent. Not any of this teabagging nonsense. Maybe this is an XBL thing.

In all seriousness, yes, being attacked or whatever after a match is disheartening and sucks after a loss. But it's just one of those things that's part of Marvel. BTW, did they take this out in MvC3?

Oh that. I thought you were talking about after one character dies being able to combo their dead body to try and run out the timer.

Seriously, just ignore that ****. People who spend their time teabagging/griefing in online games probably have nothing else in their lives to give them a sense of accomplishment. If anything you should just feel sorry for them and ignore them.

Or you could always, you know, not play fighting games online because that's not what they're made for.

I have to say though that I did teabag someone once. It was offline against a friend of mine who could not for the life of him beat my Team Duc (Spiral/Sent/Cable for those who haven't played a ton of MvC2). I eventually felt kinda bad for him so in one match where I was down to just Sentinel and he was down to his last character I spent the rest of the match teabagging to let him have the win. It wasn't a douchey griefer thing, it was just a friendly thing.

Does it upset you that much that Magneto does his combo again when he KO's you? "You should feel sorry for them." wtf.

Whatever, my point was you should ignore them if it bothers you that much.

This is getting off topic.

lol Yeah and the Xbox360 and Playstation 3 Version will be better.
I honestly don't think there was a need to respond to a 3 month old post...
But suit yourself.

WE NEED MAG-FUCKIN-NETO

Make it happen Capcom.
He'll definitely be in. I don't want him to be revealed yet since I'm more interested in seeing the newcomers first.

My wanted list:

Hsien-Ko aka Lei Lei from Darkstalkers. Her style is already over the top, and seeing it taken to the next level in MvC3 would be a treat.

Krauser from Resident Evil 4. Would be MUCH more interesting than Wesker, and since we already have Resident Evil 5 represented, I feel it would be appropriate to bring in Resident Evil 4 villain into the mix.

Poison. No clarification is needed, any real man should no why.

Marvel-
The Black Cat
Star Sapphire
Hela

give me the *******.

out of boredom, i made a list featuring the character I think are most likely to return to least likely to return from MVC2, if they do have a 30-35 character cutoff limit. no matter how i rank them , I know I'm gonna get chewed out, but I think it's pretty accurate overall.

Will Return

Spider-Man(Civil War?)
Cyclops
Megaman(ver?)
Roll

Should Return
Storm
Rouge
Venom(anti? Gargan?)
Strider Hiryu
Guile
Magneto
Dan

Might Return
Cable
Psylocke
Zangief
Gambit
Juggernaut
B.B. Hood
Tron Bonne
Sentinel
Bison
Captain Commando
Blackheart

Shouldn't Return
Thanos
Akuma
Iceman
Jill
Ken
Hayato
Omega-Red
Shuma-Gorath
Cammy
jin
Colosus
Spiral
War Machine
Charlie

Won't Return
Ruby Heart
Sonson
Amingo
Anarkis
Dhalsim
Silver Samurai
Wolverine(bone)
Sakura
Sabretooth

Move Cyclops down to Should or Might and Roll to Shouldn't.

Move everyone in Shouldn't up to Might.

Move Anakaris, Dhalsim, Silver Samurai, Sakura and Sabretooth up to Might (unless any of them were deconfirmed). Move Bison waaaaaay up to Will or Should.

Bison at isn't? Wtf are you taking about dude. Roll should be shouldn't (what a waste), same with Dan.

LOL at Guile having a higher chance than Sim and Cammy. He's a character that is the least over the top and he's based around zoning. But not Marvel zoning. I would actually put him in shouldn't.

yeah, bison was a bad call on my part(now moved up), plus there was like what, 2 Capcom villains in MVC2?(himand TBonne) and Roll is up high because she is the Vs. series' equivalent to Dan-a joke fighter who is in basically every installment.

Would you mind elaborating on some more of your list? I'd be interested in seeing why you placed some people where you did.

certainly. for one, this list was made under the assumption that there would be a 30-35 character roser(which there might),so I pretty much ranked it on who's most likely to least likely to return in those circumstances. first, I remembered how the creators stated they want all the characters to have unique play styles from each other, so taking that into account, most alt characters(like War machine and Akuma/Ken) were shoved down the list. also, the creators want to expand their roster through the entire Marvel Universe- since MVC2 had at least 15 X men characters, that meant a whole ton of them would get ganked, and most likely the more obscure guys like Silsam and Marrow. Ditto for Street Fighter- there obviously won't be that many on their side as well, so a few went down for that as well. Cable was essentialy replaced by Chris according to Killian, but he could still debatedly return. Senti is another case- it's just me maybe, but I see it being switched, most likely by Bastion, the Super-Sentinel from the recent arc in the comics. Roll was actually much lower, but then I remembered that she was no longer a rockman clone in TVC, and the fact that she's been basically the mascot for the Vs. series, so she got much higher return % in the next game. Ruby SonSon, and Amingo were custom characters created for the story of MVC2, and since there will most likely be a new one in 3, they might be dropped for more characters from the universes or another custom character. as for Servbot...yeah. he's pretty much boned.

on a side note, Silver Surfer confirmed.

basically what the article is is a look at the history of the fantastic four + an interview with ryota niitsuma where he discusses the influence of fantastic four within marvel vs capcom 3.

niitsuma runs through the playable fantastic four cast of doom, skrull, and he talks about silver surfer, who will be shown off later this month. there are no screens of him, just a little portrait thing along with the other two.

nothing new really about doom, but niitsuma said they've added a lot more attacks to skrull since the last public build including several invisible woman techniques.

silver surfer is very quick and has a unique playstyle. he is never standing on the ground. he is always hovering on his board. niitsuma said that silver surfer is more of a character to be played by advanced players. he recommends dr doom to fantastic four fans who are new to the vs series.

also, niitsuma said the fantastic four play a major role within the basic plotline of arcade mode, and that the final boss should be familiar to fans of fantastic four.
