Everyone complains about diffeq, but 385 was the only non-actuarial math glass in which I ever got an A.* Huh. The only annoying thing was Fourier series, and that wasn't difficult so much as tedious.

Math 385 was both easy and terrible for me. Easy because the questions to exams were given the day before through practice exams except with a number or two changed, terrible because each homework assignment took like 4 hours.

I had a great professor for 386. Unfortunately he graded like an *******. Basically he gave one letter grade to two people, e.g., 2 got A+, 2 got A, 2 got A-, 2 got B+, and so on all the way down to F. Kinda a ***** move for an honors class...

Also he gave us an extra credit assignment worth a ridiculous amount, 10% of the final grade, and then curved the class after he added in the extra credit. In other words, if you didn't do the extra credit you were penalized horribly. I did fine, but I feel bad for the people at the bottom of the class.

i had the worst teacher ive ever had for 385....her name was like li or ji and she pronouced omega as O-MEEEE-GA instead of O-MEGA that pissed me off so much, so i basically learned it on my own
