That was a friendly. T_T

I'm surprised you guys are taking it so seriously.
I was laughing my *** off the entire time we were camping that poor Bowser.
And I wouldn't imply that Texas is easy, Fino. ^^;

I thought the game was really serious... I mean... you see the characters on screen!?! :o
I would rather team with a level 9 CPU than Bowser, lololol

A real master doesn't need to see the characters on the screen.

I wish more was saved from this tourney because i was whoopin' :p

These were the first 2 matches of the day lol. So I wasn't totally warmed up

You roll a lot when you could just as easily walk or run instead.

Also, I noticed a bunch of times when you landed RIGHT next to him or tried to attack him and got shieldgrabbed.
You really don't want to be right next to Metaknight.

Also, Icy, I still freaking LOVE your Olimar.
A bit reckless sometimes, but fast and weird.

Good timing, caught me when I couldn't sleep X: So here we gooooooo

Your pikmin toss pattern is really weird. Try throwing a pikmin at the beginning of a short hop, you'll still have time to throw a pikmin while falling (thus throwing two pikmin from one short hop), or do something else in place of the second pikmin toss (air dodge, fair, nair, whatever). The way you're doing it you're leaving yourself really vulnerable, and you aren't mixing up your pikmin toss patterns when the opponent gets closer, which you really need to do. Otherwise, it's incredibly easy for the opponnet to get in.

You should really fsmash more. You're just running around in small areas and rolling towards him (which is a horrible thing to do, especially against Lucario). Abuse your tools you have that keep him out. Fsmash more, fair more, don't just get scared and start rolling.

Ledge attacking right after you get to the ledge is usually a bad idea. Especically if the opponent is already there. Try dropping and throwing out an attack. Find some way to get them away from the ledge. I would rather ledge roll than ledge attack most of the time. Unless it's a surprise.

When Lucario is above you, don't try to hit him. Focus more on punishing his landing. When you were right below the Lucario at 1:05, you threw out an usmash. That wasn't going to work. He's Lucario. Dair comes out twice as fast as usmash (not to mention usmash takes time to travel to hit him) and has infinitely more priority. Instead, you should have had a pivot grab in teh area he was going to land. Learn when Lucario is vulnerable and punish him then. Any other time needs to be spent waiting or applying pressure.

You should learn how to up smash out of shield. You've missed quite a few punishing options for it. Also, learn when it's safe to shield grab. A lot of the chances you've gotten to land one, you either roll away or jab (?).

Watch your line more. You've attacked with quite a few whites and that needs to not happen. Whenever you see a white come up in line, throw it. Immediately. Get it out of your line so it doesn't limit what you're able to do when you're in a situation where you don't want to be limited. That said, you want to throw it at your opponent, but if it dies, oh well. Get it out of your line one way or another.

You need to fair a lot more. Use it as a spacing tool, use it as an approach option, use it to bait, use it for whatever the **** you want just use it.

Empty short hops are good, just not when you do them all the time, lol.

Every grab you do doesn't have to be a pivot grab. Standing grab is great for spacing and punishing. It's good that you don't dash grab, because it's a bad habit, but occasional dash grabs for punishing or surprises are good, though.

Always fair after a dthrow against Lucario. Don't usmash. Don't run past him. Fair.

Don't use your jump so early when you're recovering. Wait until you're about stage height, then jump.

You should whistle more. You're getting hit by too much ****.

Alright that's about it. If you have any more videos, let me know, I'll watch them for you :D Also if you have any questions, feel free. You can ask them on here or hit me up on AIM sometime. Main two things you should work on though, is rolling less and pikmin tossing more.

Hey there, just letting you know there was a mini tourney at a corner from my house about 15 to 20 people assisted... I won btw, but like can anyone please check out my Olimar!

Maybe you can point out a certain mistake or maybe just critique it.

Finals was a best of 10 match... but they only recorded 2 matches :S

Its VS a diddy kong. Finals.

Yomi is a Japanese term meaning "Knowing the mind of the opponent". It's the ability to know what your opponent is going to do, and act appropriately. Whether you achieve this by "conditioning" the opponent to act one way, and then acting in another way, or simply work your way into the head of your opponent, yomi is just that: the ability to know what your opponent is going to do.

awesome :D

Actually my strong point is the Yomi, I find it easier reading the movements and seeing possible moves that my opponent might do in the future than actually learning the ATs. :p

I take advantage of mindgaming ^_^

Yeah, sounds like you have a winning mentality which is good (minus the complaining about characters part, lol)

Being able to be inside the mind of your opponent makes learning anything else completely pointless. If you know what your opponent is going to do, you will win 100% of the time.

Tech-skill and ATs are overrated. For instance, Daigo is the best overall fighting game player on planet Earth. When it comes to technical dexterity and deep knowledge of a game’s nuances, Daigo is outclassed by many of his Japanese contemporaries, but who is consistently destroying every tournament? Daigo
There is no need to execute difficult combos, or to have deep knowledge of the nuances of a game when you know exactly what the opponent will do next. Daigo throws out “risky moves” left and right, and lands virtually every one, because again, there is no risk when you know what the opponent will do, lol

Most players believe Daigo is literally psychic... like in the supernatural sense, haha. Classic example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pS5peqApgUA
I wish I could parry more than once or twice a match... let alone a whole super L

I'm confused. Isn't being able to parry a super past the initial blow like that mostly tech skill?

Just thought I'd let you know I saw the PM but haven't had the chance to watch the videos yet, man. Had a busy day today. I'll do a writeup as soon as I'm able to, though. :)

I only had the patience to watch the first ten minutes of Olimars getting destroyed.
No offense, but would you mind pointing out the parts that indicate that this is a good team? ^^;
