Venue fee is understandable, but those prices are much better. Good lookin on that one.

To be honest, most players dont care about the payout, only the turnout. The super majority plus more dont get any money. I think when ppl were complaining they hadnt really thought things through. Sorry for the confusion.

Im not as impressed to hear x player won 2000$ (altho winning 2000 would be ****) vs x player won a tourney of 200 ppl.

How does a player get pro standing?

Once everyone is signed in, we look at who the Top 16 are and make a decision.
Obvious ones like M2K, Ally (if he comes), ADHD, etc will be easy to determine, but essentially we look at everyone registered and decide on who the top 16 are.

I will assemble a panel at the event to do this.
We will ALSO take any #1's on Regional PRs and add them to the Pro List.

So if say RI's #1 shows up, even though he is possibly not really Top 16, he will make the cut, because #1 on a PR means something (possible bad example as a PR should have a qualifier to be ellig, a community of 10 players that has a PR prob does not qualify)

Anyway the exact details are in the works, but this is more or less how we did it for TP3 and TP4 - took #1 on PRs and top players to get 16 "Pros".
