How the Hell is Toon Link in an anime style?
Name one anime that uses a style similar to the one in Wind Waker, not just the few comedy scenes where everything is deformed but for the whole show. Lucky Star is the only one that comes to my mind.
The style in WW is closer to what one would see often in American cartoons, not Japanese cartoons imo. Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Twilight Princess have much more of an anime style.

But Wind Waker's style is not Super Deformed. I see a greater resemblance between Toon Link and Tom from Tom and Jerry than I do with any SD scene in any anime.
I don't think Wind Waker can really be called SD. Just compare with real SD scenes, those scenes are usually comedic and short but WW has its style for the whole game. Not only that but look at Ganon and the taller of Tetra's pirates, those characters are in no way SD(they may be far from realistic but they're just as far from SD.)
I don't know a name for Wind Waker's style if there even is one, but I do know that is not Super Deformed.

And I stand by saying that Wind Waker's style is in no way animeish. I cannot name one anime that looks like Wind Waker, even if there is one it's still not a common anime style; how can WW be called animeish when the style itself is rare in anime? WW isn't super deformed, if it was then Ganon would look like he does in this picture Shadow Moth posted in the social group.
An anime style is very specific, human characters are usually more realistic proportion wise(in a general since.) SD is not the general style in anime, it is rarely used as the main style for an anime so it's not what I think of when I hear anime style, I guess it's more of a sub-style imo. :/
To be fair, anime as a word in Japanese is no different than Cartoon for us. It's not restricted to styles but because most of the stuff produced in Japan looks similar people outside of Japan use the word to describe any cartoon from or outside of Japan that have much of the common elements found in Japanese animation.
And yet a cartoon style is very vague.
Wind Waker has some anime influences but to call its style an anime one is not something I can agree with. Official Artwork takes more of a Sumi-e style like you'd find in Okami but that's not found in game. In game can be described as a cartoon style easily because of how vague cartoon is as a word; whereas anime is too specific and Wind Waker just doesn't fit any description of the word enough to justify labeling it as such.
Please tell me why you think it is an anime style, if you stand by it then you must have your reasons.

I'm not gonna try and state it, since I actually read what kind of anime I was thinking about compared to most anime (SD) and you say it's not that either. Hell, I'm confused.

I've already said why anime is considered its own style even though the word never meant it. Because anime tends to have a distinct difference with other cartoons and will generally look very similar it has become more of a word for the style rather than where it originates.
Anyways, just look anime up in online dictionaries. All of the ones I've looked at mention the style as part of it. Doesn't matter though because all the arguments I've been debating mention anime as a style, and an anime style is not what I think Wind Waker has.
Toon Link needs to crawl, the pigs cant do a thing about it...
