Seeing as how you're from Austria, would you mind translating that into English? I can't read a word of it.

The explanation lies right here:Lol, i wrote it in word...
But yes, you are right. That would have been much easier and faster xD

And these Germans could think our timeline is just not enough. Let's at least analyze it first, to see what matches with our timeline and what doesn't, if anything.I highly doubt the series takes place over almost 7000 years. That's just way too much.
They happen right after one another. It all takes place basically at once. Twinrova need to sacrifice Veran, Onox, and Zelda all at about the same time so the flames stay lit so that Ganon may be resurrected. In the year 6505
The Triforce sends Link on a mission to Holodrum. Angekommen, manages to link Onox to defeat. Nevertheless, the flame of destruction sparked. (OOS)
In the year 6507
The Triforce sends Link on a mission again, this time to Labrynna. Link holds events that you Labrynna to destroy, but can not prevent the flames of grief and despair are lit. Zelda while traveling alone on the island to Labrynna link to help. Twinrova abducted them to continue with her pure body revive Ganon. Link succeeds while to save Zelda, but Twinrova sacrifices himself to the Grand Master of evil Ganon to life. Once again, Link defeated Ganon, but this can not be banished. (OOA)
wouldn't this be pretty universal though? it seems as if the series as a whole has to span an extremely long time period and yet aside from spirit tracks there doesn't seem to be that much technological advancement, or sometimes the technology seems illogical(for instance, I was just playing MM and noticed that anju's grandmother has a wheel chair that seems to have a control mechanism like you would see on a motorized chair...), I think what technology exists in zelda is kind of...random really. like the world of LTTP seems much less technological than many of the games presumed to be before itDoesn't explain the lack of technological leaps over these huge allotments of time.
Because that isn't fun and the Zelda forum wouldn't exsist.THE LEGEND OF ZELDA!!!!!!!
Dude, why does Nintendo always have to be doggone difficult, why couldn't the Legend of Zelda series just always be a retelling of The Legend of Zelda (not the original game, but the Legend itself).
You would have the first two would be their own.
Then ALLTP and LA.
Then OoT and MM.
Then 4S and 4SA.
Oracles.
Then Windwaker and PH.
Then TP and Crossbow training.
It could just be a retelling of the same Legend every single time!
This is impossible, though, because during WW's intro, it states that Ganon returned but no Hero returned. So there couldn't have been any heroes since OoT.^ Well then one might assume that some of the games take place between OoT and WW. Say it's 300 centuries between the two. A number of Links could rise in that time, and it only takes the last one before the flood to disappear for Ganon to return.
Yes, Ganon returned, but it did not say how many times. It's just that the last time he returned, there was no Link to stop him. Now, I'm not supporting the idea of games actually taking place between OoT and WW, just asserting its possibility. This is impossible, though, because during WW's intro, it states that Ganon returned but no Hero returned. the intro of WW very strongly implies that ganon was dormant during that period and comes back just once, if it had been meant to say that he comes back multiple times everything should be worded much differentlyYes, Ganon returned, but it did not say how many times. They never mention the word "Triforce" once, nor speak of it splitting, but it is inferred that it is split into three due to Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf all possessing a glowing Triforce on their hands. When is the Golden Power in Twilight Princess noted as three separate parts? I mean Power, Courage, and Wisdom. I thought in that game it was just The Golden Power.
Well, the fact remains that the Triforce is seen in engravings, statues, and what not throughout the entirety of the game, so it isn't absent. It just isn't mentioned because it doesn't really play a role in the game at all, or at least not on the surface. Essentially, every legend involving Link, Zelda, and Ganon is a story of the Triforce trying to bring itself together. I think the developers were trying to show that without blatantly telling you of the Triforce's intentions in TP. They wanted to show a more... character-based story unfold without the divinity of the Triforce playing a major role.I always thought, because of that, TP would take place in a separate part of the time line. Usually the games made a point to note what piece of the triforce is being searched for. And being that in OoT all pieces of the triforce are noted, I would think that knowledge would go on.
Sorry. I haven't read much of this topic. I tried, and I think I got most of it, but it was in parts, and each read through was separated by a long wait.
Welcome to Smash Boards and the LoZ forum, Ekul!To answer the poll... TMC goes first, because the monsters are let into the world, the triforce is nowhere to be found, and vaati is sealed in the four sword. That thing about the hat is a pointless argument IMHO.
My full timeline is:
Adult WW/PH-ST-FS/FSA-ALttP/OoS/OoA/LA-LoZ/AoL
/
TMC-OoT x/y = same Link x-y = different Link
\
Child MM-TP
Any questions go ahead and ask... I wrote a thread on FB that tells it like a story. I could copy it over.
I think of Ganon as a demon who spawned from Ganondorf and cannot exist without him. It can only arise when Ganondorf is alive. So they're different beings that share one "node" of existence.Well, I'd love to put my ideas in, but I don't think it varies much from what's already been said.
I still hate the idea of Ganon and Ganondorf being two different entities. I would think that Ganondorf becoming Ganon is much like a demon changing form as it grows in power; It's still the same being, just looking kinda cool there.
